Just no.
SSDs are dirt cheap and nvme are not that expensive either.
Dont expect the world to stand still, just because you do.

It's unrelated to memory speeds but CPU compilation times, in simple words game is unoptimized towards CPU, and SSD's and storages have limited to impact.
Upgrading storage won't help unless the person is using a HDD, which 99% arent. CPU upgrade won't yield much benifit either as the game simply uses CPU inefficiently(unoptimized).

Dude not all of us are some kind of PC shop mechanic that knows how to install new parts into our computer. And not everyone can buy an SSD or new harddrive. Most people are just stuck with the current setup they have, and just can't put in new parts or upgrade. Even if someone gave me a new SSD I wouldn't know how to use it lol

I expect some kind of decent optimization instead of this game literally damaging people's PCs because of all the freezes that still haven't been fixed 1 month into EA.

building a pc is easier than efficiently playing path of exile without any guide and there are countless youtube videos explaining how to upgrade your system.

but games shouldnt be held back just because someone might still run HDDs from pre 2000.

the games optimization is decent...just not for PCs that are ancient and 2 weeks (the other 2 weeks were holidays) is not much time.

Have you played it on a PS5? Is it a HDD 2000 toaster? I think not...

The game isn't optimized period.
I think the loading has something to do with the pause feature. I'm certain that will be ironed out over time.

The game is in beta/alpha boys. its not perfect.

All it does when you make a post in caps is make everyone assume you're a child stomping their feet because they cant have ice cream for dinner.

Just tested it and it takes me 33 seconds to load in and out of a map 6 times.
Youngest PC parts are 2 1/2 years old.

PS5 is a toaster, yes.

If you think you could play an early access game without any problems on something like that, then thats 100% on you as well.

So I can play Cyberpunk 2077 in 4K whole High full raytracing... but can't play PoE 2 isometric schitck.

A joker for sure.

Ah yes, cyberpunk, the early access game that got released a month ago...

A genius for sure.

PS: CP2077 looks like shit on console
Fact is that PoE has never been optimized well. Like ever. Remember when ground effects would utterly kill your fps?(especially burning ground) and they reworked how they looked in PoE 1. Yeah no they only test this game on giga-expensive PCs and even people with high-end setups are having problems because of all the freezing and crashing happening.

1 month into EA btw. It's not the player's fault that GGG decided to release this undercooked af game just before holidays then went completely silent for 2 weeks, that's just horrible planning.
Lifelong NEET, loud and proud about it.
