I really liked the game and after almost 140 hours I'm really angry that Endgame is unplayable for me due to latency and a lot of stumbling. Why should I stay up at dawn to finally be able to play properly?
GGG!!! What's going on? Network latency can be a horrible 1000ms sometimes, but on average it's 200-300. It's a joke. I understand that many other patches are needed, but guys... Since the deployment of patch 0.2.1, I’ve been experiencing significant CPU latency spikes, especially when the game is attempting to download shaders. These spikes are particularly noticeable during the initial load of a map, when mobs are spawning. The issue becomes more severe with highly juiced maps the more modifiers and effects present, the worse the lag.
Interestingly, this problem seems to worsen during peak hours (evening to midnight), and then gradually improves past midnight, likely as player traffic decreases. This pattern makes me suspect the root cause might be related to server-side bottlenecks rather than a client-side performance issue. I’ve tested this across the three closest servers to my location: Singapore, Hong Kong, and Japan. Unfortunately, all three regions exhibit the same issue consistently. I hope this feedback helps the development team in identifying the cause. Please let me know if any further information (e.g., logs or system specs) would assist in the investigation.
