Priest of the Sun beam needs nerfing
Literally unavoidable unless you're close to it and have freedom to ring around the rosey, it tracks too tightly (and I have 25% move speed) and lasts too long to be fair, was stupid in campaign and is even worse in maps when my shit for drops never give me enough resists with anything else actually useful.

The duration of his beam does need to be cut by at least 25%.

For me this mob is completely OP. It killed me more than once while I can manage the other.
This beams is completely busted as it tracks no matter what you do with very big range and very long duration. Clearly far stronger than any other mob in a pack and they aren't in front row either so they will be able to shoot a beam quite often. Dernière édition par SHwoKing#5809, le 26 déc. 2024 08:54:24

My biggest problem with this monster that it snipes you from out of screen. If you don't have cover you are out of luck.

Yes 90% of my deaths on maps are to these guys hitting off screen and locking on with the beam. Im maxed resist and if they catch me out in the open im toast. Only way to break the beam is to be lucky enough to be close to a wall or obstruction to break it.

How is this attack is fine? It is a perfectly tracking beam that can go off the screen and melt you at higher levels even with max resists. Losing a map to nonsense like this is infuriating. What is the counter to that attack, devs? You can't say line of sight when there's several maps where there won't be any LoS tactics to employ because it's open space. If you can't get to him in time, what is the counter to this idiotic attack. This attack is like fighting against someone aimbotting in a First Person Shooter. The beam attack lasts way too long. Had to deal with three of them being minions of a reviving Rare with no cover. It was pure hell.

" Bump. Still to this day... 1) Its tracking is far too tight. 2) Its sight range is way too far. 3) It goes through 90% of obstacles for no reason. You see that wall over there for a moment of respite? "I don't." 4) It feels like it's never going to end once it starts. Who played this game? A lot of things implemented really feel like they had no consideration put into them, and even if they did, they went with what sounded "cool" on paper, and never tried it to see. --- Normally they're not very noticeable to me, since I'm close range, but they're on absolute dog-water optimized projectile spam maps like Savannah (Where fire freezes you, etc, and here's some poison); one of the few maps that just slumps the CPU for absolutely no reason, resulting in cheap deaths where there wouldn't be one on any other map. They REEEEEALLY needs to be nerfed. 75% of resist is useless for them! They killing before i actually notice a danger!

Agreed, dying to this never feels fair.
The beam does way too much damage. The beam has no inertia it just locks onto you like an aimbot. The beam can reach you from off screen. Once it touches you it can easily stunlock you by itself. |

Yep, this may be the most broken mob in the game.
