The poe 2 dev team

Unfortunately for me, I happened to be in the poe1/2 discord voice chat when the vid dropped. I gotta tell you, I've never felt so ashamed & had so much second hand embarrassment as I did listening to complaints as I did that day. It was like watching children cry because they could only have their cookie at 11 instead of at 10.

Love poe1, love poe2 (regardless if it's there yet) but GGG as a company & specifically Johnathan, ChrisW & Mark as a trio are exactly what a studio needs. People lose perception so fast it's not funny. 45 days ago, these 3 were the unsung heroes of the world, revolutionizing gaming & community engagement. Today, they fell short of perfection (which they mostly have been for the last decade, just look at their release schedule) and now they're suddenly these movie villains. Reddit's even asking for Johnathans resignation.

These guys & this studio did something I've never seen any company, much less a relatively small game studio which could use the revenue a lot more than many other AAA companies: They made skins transferrable between games because it was logical to do it for their players. These guys own up to everything they do wrong and even then they mess up - which, btw, they do 100x less than 99% gaming studios, similar to Fromsoftware.
If that doesn't tell you where these guys heads are at, idk what will. This whole ordeal made it look like there's some conspiracy or evil intentions and the online world eats it up and makes a huge unwarranted drama out of it.

In the next 30 days we'll have 0.2 & in 50 days we'll have 3.26. The world won't end & I guarantee you the same people crying to the skies today they're refunding and their world is over will not only survive but will also go 180 and shower praise in 30 and 50 days.
Having 3.26 in 7 weeks would be nothing short of a miracle considering Johnathan said they *have not started working on it yet*. He told us in the video that they would get whoever they can spare to work on 'pre-production' for 3.26

If new content is coming in 0.2.0 then they will also need time to work on bug fix and balance changes which will be another few weeks.

IMO there is no shot we are seeing 3.26 before May/June.

I don't understand the point of this kind of feedback. Obviously they know they are doing a good job because the game was topping steam charts and still has 200k active players.

Pointing out problems doesn't negate that.

This is just cringe. It's the kind of talk a corporation gives to their employees in lieu of giving them a raise.

Troll.
you must be talking about the poe 1 dev team
As much as I'd love to day poe 2 is a great game, I just can't at this moment. There are so many issues that need addressed. Going through empty maps that you failed is not fun, looking for another citadel after you fail one is not fun. There are way to many on screen effects happening to see exactly what's underneath you that's going to explode and 1 shot you. Even with max resistances it can be unbearable. The game tries to be a souls game at times with punishments, and it just doesn't work in the end game. Any person that believes that these punishments are acceptable is a goddamn psychopath and a masochist and you need to seek help

It has literally the same purpose as all other feedback: To let someone know what you want. All feedback is valuable, even if it's feedback you've already gotten, because it compounds and tells you something about where the playerbase stands.

Preach. It's really disappointing to see how so many people can't act like adults. I totally get being disappointed, I'm disappointed myself, but for the love of god, can we please stop acting like this is the end of the world. What's the point of this doomsaying, what does it achieve other than pointlessly inflame the forum?
can you guys please for the love of christ make it so items posted for sale are bought/sold instantly from inventory or some sort of better solution. it has been a HORRENDOUS experience trading [Removed by Support]. IDK the disconnect but it is literally pulling teeth to try to buy and sell things from the website
