Can't activate tablet on completed tower POE2

Haven't been able to put in any tablets after completing towers, and I just found out this was something you could do to boost rare and unique items over larger areas of the map.

I try to put the tablet in after completing and it just puts me back in the same window as when I started the mission there, and tells me the tower is already completed.

Unless there's yet another unique button option to do this, this is a broken mechanic if you don't use a keyboard/ play on consoles. This game desperately needs to be both optimized and taken out of early access. There are too many issues like this that should have been fixed long before now.
