a) He attacked the message, not the messenger. Which is valid.
b) You mean the forum code of conduct, the games Ts&Cs don't have anything to do with this conversation. There is an extended version of the CoC, the ToS though. And your behaviour is in clear breach of said CoC/ToS.
c) You are the one who is repeatedly attacking people even when not even talked to. And you are the one constantly off topic throwing comparisons to Elon Musk into the conversation and other stuff that doesn't belong here.

What I see is protectionism and elitism - not one valid argument as to why an XP penalty is a good thing in todays time yet.

I wonder if they made a no xp lost mode how many of those defending the penalty would keep the penalty mode. Not 100% for sure :)

Yeah, I mean, just give us "SSF veteran" and "SSF casual". Proposed that earlier in that thread already. I don't see a harm in a softer game mode for those that want to play that way - for whatever reason.

No he quite literally attacked the messenger. Responding with "that's dumb" is literally the definition of a straw man fallacy.

He got an appropriate response for his level of insight.

My response to the other post that if Elon can find time to play the game, then so can you, is still valid. Or are you going to argue that he has fewer obligations to attend to during the day than us plebians ?

Topic is xp penalty, not marathon and elon's work schedule. As you said before, stay on topic please.

The only people who view lv100 with penalties as any kind of achievement are those who want to sell services to you.

It's a retarded mechanic and no one likes it. If you want punishing gameplay play hardcore, but suddenly most of these defenders cover away because they only want "hardcore" when it suits them.

The exp penalty is an incentive to not die too much and don't run content you aint ready for. If you do not die a lot does wonders.

Also I am at 93 closing in on 94 and if I die I lose 1 maybe 2 maps worth of exp.

agree, 10% exp is bullshit. 2.5% is max for this game. game is hard enough

Will agree that in the current state of the game the xp loss on death is inexcusable. That does not belong in game till broken endgame monster balance gets addressed in detail.
