Uxmal, The Beastlord (Ultimatum)

This encounter is really weird/janky/buggy.

Compared to the other two ultimatum bosses, this one just feels really bad.

Firstly, the arena is a really weird shape. Why are the other two bosses in a circular arena, but this one is in a really tight area?

Second, I'm not sure if it's just due to the nature of the boss and his attacks, or the arena, but it seems like he spawns in, does a couple of attacks, and then flies up and just disappears until you go around and look for him. He then lands, does another few attacks, and flies up again.

This makes the fight rather tedious, combined with the fact that his behaviour while off screen seems very odd. It's also hard to see what he's doing when he's flying offscreen.

Note, this is nothing to do with the difficulty of the boss. I actually think he is much easier than the other two. The fight is just really janky.

I think it would be much better if he were just in the same circular arena as the other two.

Huge +1 to this - he flies around way too much. It makes it extremely hard, especially as melee, to get any meaningful combos going. This fight took forever!

Also, some of his hitboxes (like the ice attack) are a lot larger than what it shows on the screen!

Yep, agree with everything in the OP. The arena size is so huge that you're able to hang out far enough outside aggro range for as long as you need, which makes it a free (but long) fight if you have flasks that gain charges over time. This fight is a shitty experience.

This boss is straight up broken, he flies around non-stop making it impossible to build any status effects on him.

This arena is awful. The boss also bugged out and disappeared for me, leaving a permanent frost aoe on the ground in it's place.

I hate this guy too. He gives you no opportunity to attack. Just constantly flying away from you.

I just got here, this boss is absolutely awful. This fight doesnt belong here at all. Should not have passed QA.

If I have to do the 1st ascendancy again I just pray that this is the boss I get. He's annoying but consistently beatable with patience, and you room to dodge the physical AOE ring if you have that mod.

I mean do you actually prefer the tornado bird dude that floods the screen with one-shots?

Agree. I spent more than half of the fight running around looking for where that funk went now...

Agree to everthing above, ran into this on character re-roll, honestly didn't mind the free ascendency.
