Please allow us to turn off auto aim

There's a skill already that lets you turn it off.

the fact it`s not a default option makes me think this is a remnant from PoE1 and can`t be fixed, same with ranged attacks having a problem with hitting where the mouse points from certain angles.

I doubt it's an engine problem, cause if you hold SHIFT it works properly. It only needs an option to "auto SHIFT"

I'm playing a stormcaller arrow build at the moment. I stick an enemy with an arrow. I know it will die when the lightning strikes, so I want to stick a different enemy, but auto aim makes me shoot the same enemy again. I'd clear trash packs so much faster if I could pick my targets.

Or I want to shoot the ranged guy over there that's spamming AoE instead of the weaker guys right in front of me. Auto aim makes me kill the closer enemies first instead of MY priority target.
Just adding to the grousing after googling to make sure I wasn't going crazy. This is irking me to no end with my Monks (Ice Strike/Tempest Flurry, seems most egregious with Flurry). I want to target my Bell, not the pack of mobs behind me or across the screen.

My toon should be swinging where my cursor is poinnting and yes this absolutely should be a toggle. It's enough of a headache that the Bell will sometimes just plonk down wherever it damn well pleases.

Aito-aim is awful for KBM and I have no idea why there isn't an option to disable it.
