POE2 keeps freezing my computer

Guys, I think I found a solution for this! I noticed that it only happens if I have discord open at the same time. Try to close it and let me know if it happens to you too. I had basically a total freeze every few maps and they are gone with discord closed. Now I will try to disable the gpu acceleration option on discord and try to run both and see how it goes!

are they ever gonna fix it? zero updates from poe side.

Because they hope community will fix it. In Poe1 there were some s**t things that never got fixed, and they persisted since launch.

I have constant crashes on waypoints and teleport, so much I have to quit playing because it started making me mad.

Cosmetics must work, everything else you need to fix alone, apparently.

Hello everyone, I've found an issue with power consumption in processors, and I've limited the consumption to match my CPU's specifications. In my case, I have the Ryzen 5 5600X, which has a 65W limit, but the motherboard configuration makes it reach around 75W.

This occurs because the motherboard might have OC (overclocking) enabled for the CPU, and poe2 uses all necessary CPU resources when loading, which causes excessive overload resulting in freezing of the utilized CPU cores.

Solution options:
-use BIOS configuration to activate CPU ECO mode
-use a program like AMD Ryzen Master/Intel(R) Extreme Tuning Utility to limit power consumption (according to your CPU's limit)
Once this is done, the CPU usage percentage will remain the same while temperatures will decrease considerably

Hola a todos, he encontrado un problema del consumo de potencia en los procesadores, y he limitado el consumo al correspondiente de mi CPU, en mi caso tengo el Ryzen 5 5600X, que su limite es 65W y la configuración de la placa madre hace que llegue sobre 75W.

Esto ocurre por que es posible que la placa tenga activado el OC para la CPU, y poe2 utiliza todo los recursos de la CPU necesario al cargar, y eso hace una sobrecarga excesiva produciendo el Freeze de los CPU utilizados.

Opciones para solución:
-utilizar en configurado de la BIOS, activar el modo ECO de la cpu
-utilizar un programa como AMD Ryzen Master/Intel(R) Extreme Tuning Utility, para limitar el consumo (segun el limite de tu CPU)

Una vez realizado esto, el % de uso de CPU será el mismo y las temperaturas disminuirán considerablemente
