PoE 2 - I hate trial of the sekhemeas so much
Its random crap is the issue.
twice in one day I zoned into a Bricked run. First room, any choice of the 3 offered run is bricked. I dont farm for access or i would have been super pissed. Truth is, i gave up on them as soon as i saw them for what they are. I treat them with equal respect. I throw the coin in the slot . randomly click crap and kill mobs. I don't read the rooms anymore I don't care. I won't be playing if it ships with this. Its not a boo hoo, just a fact. I hate it because it is the lowest form of gaming. It gimps your character into a one shot state. The randomness is lazy game development, no game is random. This one is purposely there to waste your time as skill does not enhance success. 2 things are slowing killing the game. Trials Lack of crafting. Both remove player knowledge and skill in place of random chance. Both are mandatory. Mandating a crappy experience. Dernière édition par Jitter912#4278, le 8 févr. 2025 19:58:15

" Don`t worry you don't need too. They drop so often that I stopped picking them up. " That's that kind of mentality that you need to not have if you want to have a chance of success " You need to redefine your form of gaming tought. There's far worst. Like... Arbiter of Ash one shot mechanic. Now that's stupid... " If you don't use relics, yes. If you use them accordingly you can get a decent amount of punishement without being out of honor even, truly being able to die before your honor bar drop to zero. " Totaly disagree with you here. RNG can make a game fun, otherwise people wouldn't get mentally addicted to it. But I do agree that there something as too much RNG and GGG is really abusing it. " Wrong again. Preparation skills and choosing wisely your way is also part of having skills. Again, can't say anything if the choice are always bad tought. RNG gonna be RNG (and I hate it too) " Once you get past a certain point, Trials become trivial so honestly it's not that much of a problem for a lot of people. Also there's always carry service even if I would agree that needing them might mean that the trials should be introduced in later map, or better explained. As for crating tought, 200% agree. Both remove player knowledge and skill in place of random chance.
Dernière édition par Thaynime#8492, le 8 févr. 2025 20:08:33

I never comment on this type of forum, but the trials of ascension are a disrespect with player time.

I absolutely agree, I failed it so many times and it's just not fun!!!
I'm at the point where I'm ready to pay someone to pass the trial on my behalf! (Honestly, I'm not gonna pay, don't offer me that) It's just disappointing and soul-sucking. |

"
Dont think you understand. Im NOT going to play this shit. I find enough value in other things, i have a goal ill do it. Then likely leave. The Trials are dogshit. A whole game inside a game, that doesnt use any of it's rules. Would you buy the Tials of Sechema from the Steam store ? Would you call up your buddy and say, hey login to the trials we playing today or what? NEVER I can tolerate it cause i dont interact with it. I slam in the key and just start clicking.... pause for fire .. nope roll roll roll.. run run run .. Its not worth one second of thought, if i fail I fail, whatever. If this shit is in the game at launch , im not, isometric mario brothers. Hey I didn't buy any MTX ... The players money is theirs to lose, ya keep it in the game. Fill it with Arch Nemesis mobs. Make crafting a roulette wheel and make ascension a time waster mini game. I had all the faith in the world in these guys. it's fading fast. It's incredibly random, unfun, punishing, and scales from level to level in an unbelievable way. I stopped playing a while back assuming I'd never get my 3rd or 4th points, and I just don't see why it's gotta be like this.
I know a 3rd thing is coming and this testing period will be long, but I do hope they take a long, hard look at the systems they have in place. It needn't be like this. |
