Impose restriction on yourself because you want the game to be more difficult
Step two:
Complain about game being too difficult.
Step three:
Complain on forum
Step four:
Quit.

SSF could be a nice alternative for people who want to play an ARPG instead of a supermarket simulator. Asking for it to be fun isn't too much imho.
