Because I actually go t-16.5 and t-17 double titanic of lineage and + of treasure + gigantic Rogues Exiles, by 400% increased atlas-mods buffed, beyond enlightened further with delirium-orbs, in wildwoods by wisps 3000-4000% empowered, and last with eater-altars boosted, I gear a bit more tanky, somewhere in around 80M-100M damage with the additional aura flesh and stone, 90% max-resis and elegant hybrid supreme decadence. This league as Hybrid-Crit-HoA-Scion and only 10M poison-dot.

The build can facetank easy every juiced content, in a budget of 80 divs (in that maxed juice most others need 200-800 divs+++).

It's fun of sting as always and an awesome HoA-league. So much flexibility! Much more as ever before.

Breaching | High density

With our Aegis Aurora all high density-poe-mechanics like Breaches heals us infinitive nonstop in battle 1k-5k es on block. 75% block and spellblock are easy stacked (fullblock on tree and clusters or with keystone Glancing blows).

The huge 2-screen-wide projectile-range of HoA is fitting to stabilize fast the bosss-breaches.


Our cyclone-movement-mainskill fits perfect for uninterrupted 100% damage-uptime in breach-runs with perfect quality of life of smooth 1-button movement+damage united.

Almost each league I farmed juiced breaches and did breach-stones-runs for the high exp.
It's a one of the most fun-mechanics. Also full juiced in the Allstars's-gear it was always trivial easy because we have evasion, attackblock, es and life on hit and on block, ghost dance, flat dr and more layers of defences and recovery. So I hope breaches will turn more challenging and more rewarding joy.

Awakened fork multiplies HoA's basic 5 projectiles x7 to oneshoot 35 targets. B.i.s. in open designed maps, breaches and for harbingers.
Can be further linked with awakened gmp/pierce/chain/returning to up to 70->110->180->360 projectiles, 4x to 7x times each second oneshotting the Breach.

Returning Projectiles combinated with pierce covers 2 screens also in the HoA's backside in breaches, ravaged blights, delve and 5-ways or is combinated with Sniper's Mark to hit bosses twice after piercing or splitting.

Some AoE can be easy plugged in with Animate Guardian's Asenaths Gentle Touch or as Occu or as Necro with forbidden flame and flesh Profane Bloom.

We have stacked already nice 180% increased energyshield, so the Allstars activate with 1 passive 100% chaos-immunity CI again (as by default from [3.13] to [3.24]) against Chayula (teasered purple in the Keeper of Flames 3.27-logo).

Staying Hybrid Life+Es, when new Secrets- / Breaches-Ubers are introduced, is full perfect too with our 95 % flat dr, 75% capped chaos-resis and our Arakaali-pantheon.
Chayula was always already early trivial because we evade and block his harmless skills.



Our key-unique bodyarmour Skin of the Lords / Skin of the Loyals drops in Chayula's flawless breaches, so it will become one of the typical league-uniques and will be probably good and cheap available.

New Ascendancies - Bloodlines

The new alternative ascendancies fit awesome for necros, trickster, guardians, juggs, champs, scions, etc.

All HoA-ascendancies are able to free up 2-6 ascendancy-points.
Only the pathfinder needs to invest instead into "spiked concoction" on a cluster or path 2 passives into "druidic rite" / or other flask-masteries in the tree.

Further of course forbidden flame and flesh can carry in one more ascendancy notable.

Ritual Nameless Bloodlines: Switch in only life-, hybrid- and enduring mana-flasks, also with utility-suffixes, also the Grasping nightshade sporebloom tincture for cyclone-withers.
Alternative Divination Distillate for item rarity and Writhing jar for minion offence mastery for unholy might after kill or bearing Arakaali's fang are interesting too

Then use elegant hubris supreme decadence, perhaps further petrified blood, be unaffected by poison for free boots-choice (i.e. rare eldritch boots, rainbow strides, bubonic trails), eg balance of terror jewel for withers, and use 3 rings (i.e. shaper ring, shavronne revelation etc. on 3. slot)

Chaos Bloodline Ultimatum Trial Master - Vaal discipline can be stacked with runegraft of the soulwick to 2 vaal souls each sec. With the reservation mastery and more duration 18 secs vaal discipline-uptime is easy reached.
Also Vaal Impurity of Ice, Vaal Grace, Vaal Molten Shell etc. can be nice buffed

Harvest - Unleash: Unleash set-ups for lowered manacosts instead cast while channeling

New guard-like skill 4000 damage absorbed





The Grafts - Implantated new skills

The 2 implantated Backgrafts are introduced to fill gaps in the build. We can use them flexible to buff most wanted defences, HoA-virulences, brittle, cc or a bit damage.



Genesis tree

A big new second corrupting / vaal orbing-like risky gamble.

Because the Allstars are specialists for using much unique gear and flexible on each slot, probably that's the most interesting new league-mechanic.

Crafting in the genesis tree "Birthed" uniques Circles of Nostalgia, Aegis Aurora, CIP, Eber's, Triad Grips, SoL, Ashes, etc. will be extreme interesting.



Other new skillgems

The new kinetic int-gems look at first sight fast enough to be channeled, unleashed or triggered for HoA-virulences (i.e. the new wall of force instead tornadoes or ball-ligtnings).
Of course they need to be tested ingame and optimized.


Spectres forever

The new reviving Spectres will throw some charges, auras and curses in again.

Of course the whole build works without spectres too, and we can focus simply on the immortal HoA when wanted.

Your linked minions take 73% less damage
On killing a rare monster, a random linked minion gains its modifiers for 60 seconds
That helmet would fit to buff the AG, Golem or the support-spectres.




Spell Suppression nerf

"Spell Suppression now prevents 40% of Damage from Suppressed Hits and Ailments they inflict (previously 50%)."

The Allstars are much less affected (compared to all other builds with spell suppression as major layer of defence) with their 90% flat dr, flat +max resis of melding of the flesh and their mix of defensive layers. But maxing the +max resis above 85% to 90% becomes more valuable.

Minion Attacks now inherently always hit. (equal to +5-10% more damage)


Poisonous Concoction: Now has 22-537 to 33-806 Added Chaos Damage at gem levels 1-20 (previously 30-716 to 44-1073), and Added Chaos Damage is equal to 4-16% of Flask's Recovery Amount if Charges were consumed from a Life Flask (previously 3-11%). - as our recommended levelling skill now less recommended. HoA, cyclone and spells become more interesting while levelling in place of poisonous concoction.



Trickster

The Heartstopper Notable Ascendancy Passive Skill now grants Every 10 seconds, Take 50% less Damage from Hits for 5 seconds (previously 40%), and Take 50% less Damage over Time for 5 seconds (previously 40%).

The Soul Drinker Notable Ascendancy Passive Skill no longer has 20% increased Attack and Cast Speed while Leeching Energy Shield.

The Spellbreaker Notable Ascendancy Passive Skill no longer has +20% chance to Suppress Spell Damage, and now has Prevent +15% of Suppressed Spell Damage while on Full Energy Shield (previously 10%).

The One Step Ahead Notable Ascendancy Passive Skill now has Your Action Speed is at least 90% of base value (previously 108%), and Nearby Enemy Monsters' Action Speed is at most 90% of base value (previously 92%). - will be switched to one of the new bloodline-ascendancy



The detonation speed of most Monster Volatile Cores can no longer scale with attack or cast speed. Additionally, the ability for some sources of Volatile Cores to ignore block, evasion, and spell suppression has been removed. Volatile Cores from the Tier 17 Map modifiers and specific Ritual Monsters have also had their damage reduced. ( One of the most unconfomfortable t-17 mods got nerfed to normal lethality.)

Build up your defences and damage

This build shows improving paths of gear-set-ups. Mana, damage and defences are balanced a bit different with the weapon, belt, used or unused flesh and stone, tempestshield, enfeeble, ed-charges-uptime and clusters. You can switch the set-ups fast.

1.) Levelling - Until t12 maps

Stack 80% poisonchances with passives and poison on hit-support for production of HoA-virulences with your own spells.

Level with the starters:

Head always as early as possible to cheap small clusters for auras and medium clusters for "pure agony".

Relaxed master your manamanagement around lvl 50 with the 3 small clusters "uncompromising", "sublime form" and "self-control".

Simultan start to outsource res, attr, bleeding- and ailment-immunities from gear onto the transferpoints of clusterjewels and ghastly jewels.

With 2 rings circles of nostalgia, all skill-reservation-efficiencies, and on top the 90% (or better 80%) manamultiplier-helmet corruption and the amulet-anoint you manage your mana to activate all big tanky auras to stack all global basic defences and keystones.

Easy from lvl 60 you start to optimize your damage with "pure agony" on full 9 medium clusters. For this insert 3 cheap large clusters #7 / #5-passives voices into the tree.


3.) Lvl 80: Boss-Hunter 20 M - The Damage

Harmonically in simultaneity you tripple up your ehp around lvl 70-90:
Arriving in the second and third large cluster you max also your defences by aurastacking and switch in more jewels and small clusters.
You reach an unique record of 1M-inf*Ehp.

Get:

Ashes of the Stars
Empower and Awakened HoA-supports

When you get a watcher's eye with es on hit and reach on the tree 95-100% spell suppression and have crafted well rolled flasks you are already geared for almost all content.

Move some auras, curses, and skills over to the Mercs and AG.
Turn auras like Purity of Ice and Discipline over to the Frosthand-Merc.
Gear the Merc further up with curses, slow-immunities and phys-dr.


4.) Lvl 90: MinMax 40-80 M shaper-damage

Melding of the flesh and a sapphire flask raise ele-max-resis to tanky 85-90%.

Outsource all needed attributes, resis, bleeding-avoidances, spell suppression and mana-reg from gear on jewels, clustertransfers, implicits, tattoos and league-mechanics to get more free passives and capacities for damage, tankyness and qol.

Attractive corruptions & doublecorruptions are gathered and best rare pieces are sniped or crafted.

The hunt for some additional fitting megalomaniacs clusters with hundreds of interesting combinations begins.


5.) The Highway to damage 100-1000 M

Around lvl 95 when you want to full max you decide to gain the b.i.s.-status on each piece of gear, jewel and each implicit.

You crawl into the final HoA skill-lvls 34-40. With 3 voices clusters you slay the last Ubers in still remaining full tankyness.
Your HoA-base-damage skyrocks with the raising virulences. So in effect you need less minionpoison for high damage over time.

Now you scale finally into HoA-crits with Maata's Teaching and additional curses for total convincing 200-1000M shaper-damage - or walk relaxed into tankyness, an unholy might-minion-mastery, or farm a mageblood for qol.

Originally five heralds, one for each of the five damagetypes in wraeclast, were sent out from the islands of Chris to boost the clear speed in the mines of Nico.

Two heralds were designed as outliners to be empowered as new mainskills. The gang of of purity, heralds in the mortal physical realm, fighted hard, slow and melee.

Last the only one single raised. Shaped as a scorpion the herald of chaos was immortal born in the endless dunes of arachnophilia and crawled out of the sands at the beaches of Wraeclast to raise his small dirty sting.

A long time ago - The meta of herald-stackers [3.4] to [3.12]

In these ancient leagues all heralds were often crossover stacked with more heralds to be elemental converted, supported by the aura hatred, the grips of the counsil and the keystone elemental equilirium. These heraldstackers were often the leading meta-skills in [3.4] Delve and following.

Of course fast in [3.5] Betrayal league the multiple-damage-scaling of herald-stackers and in [3.7] Legion the HoA-virulences-damage and agony-uptime with cluster-notables were deep, dark and bitter nerfed by 40%. Merciless aegis aurora es on block was halfed.


The Mana guardians

Finally as Mana Guardian this chaoscrawler caught the POE world by storm when POEDan took it to a whopping 1359 hardcore delve level in [3.7] Legion. He had something like 27K energy shield, 40K armor, and well over 1 million in Shaper DPS. In Metamorph league [3.9], the build was used again by Daser in SSFHC delve competition and he finished second place with 1071 depth with far less gear than Dan's 1085 depth Baron Zombie guardian.


The deep nerf

A second time in [3.10] Delirium the hammer swinged - another 30% nerf to HoAg-damage was thrown out. The support-spectres as well as the animated guardian we're nerfed step by step and lost their former immortality from [3.13] Ritual league by league until [3.15] Expedition and even further sinking into the [3.19] Lake of Kalandra.

The Arachnophobias and Arachnophilias

In [3.13] Ritual I introduced the new guide "The Arachnophobia Allstars" focussing much more on armour- and aura-stacking with more clusters and aul's uprising, with iron reflexes on Skin of the Lords, solely exclusive designed with immortal minions, with evasions of minion-blindings. With more curses and full withers I buffed up spirit offering, in that time another 30% more chaosdamage. I optimized the pathing and skills and supports and with fastings almost 100% flasks-uptimes were reached before the famous belt mageblood was born. I reworked the selection of large and small clusters using their buffs of [3.11] Harvest. I stacked the aura-notables and stalwart commanders to optimize Grace. In [3.15] Expedition the tipping level-point of HoA lowered from lvl 31 down to lvl 29, enabling different weapons and different amulets.

The big buff [3.16] to [3.18]

One league later in [3.16] Scourge the damage of HoA-virulences was buffed around 25%. The new awakened gems were upgrading the HoA totally awesome too.

The auras determination, grace, and as well discipline were hard buffed in relation to stats on gear. Ghost dance and divine shield were introduced on the tree for Hybrids and CI's. Armour overall was huge buffed 50% against bigger hits.

With the nerfs of Glancing Blows, to the memory vault, to the blindings and blue nightmare the Allstars turned into the reformations of the full-block-editions, Tempestshield shaped HoA as autobomber.

Balaar reached with HoA the new poe-record in speed-levelling.

In [3.19] Kalandra poison-minions got buffed around 200%. The King of Sting in his mix of 60% physical and 40% chaos-damage was full prepared to raise again into s-tier damage like the SRS Summon Raging Spirits. The hexes temporal chains and despair were buffed imba into the top. Skin of the Lords and many uniques were buffed. 4w socketed triad grips became the one and only b.i.s. So cast-while-channelling trigger and setups were getting more and more interesting and were urgent needed two leagues later for 90 HoA-virulences. The beloved classic balls of lightning needed to be removed. In maps the minion-offence-mastery walked in with unholy might with 40% more damage - another step into 40M damage, without headhunter, without meta-expensive gear.

In [3.19] the Necro got the perfect 8th HoA-link-support deluxe with "unnatural strength" in her ascendancy, so I optimized and introduced the new HoA-Necro - The Arachnophilia Allstars.

Also in [3.19] the CI-Trickster was buffed extreme tanky, but I optimized the other ascendancies and waited until [3.23] to publish this new tank at last.

In [3.21] Crucible the Pathfinder joined the Allstars-team with 30% more chaos-damage of withers and her easy 100% uptime of utility-flasks.


New defences

With some small buffs in the reservation-efficiencies and ressources of spell suppression moving from gear into the tree and the nerfings to the melding of the flesh-jewel, and reacting to the ele-penetrations of most of the Ubers, the build switched in it's 3th large cluster, the 5th and the 6th medium cluster and travelled into the eastern world of the tree into 100% spell suppression.

Molten shell was halfed. Recovery and substain needed to be fixed - and the graven's secret was detected.


100 virulences - 100M damage

In [3.23] Affliction the helmet-enchant and alternate skillqualities were nerfed and removed, on the other side default HoA-skill-quality was transformed into virulences and so in result the amulet ashes of the stars was very nice buffed.

With the new ball lightnings of orbiting 110 and with the new quality to storm burst 120 and more virulences are reliable stacked in 0.3 secs and continuous the highest es on hit with the traditional watcher's eye is triggered beside.

Poisonous concoction was chosen as the new easy levellingskill.

The final HoA-tipping-point lvl 34, up to lvl 39, was claimed. The poe-engine hardcaps the crawler's dps-dot.

The second keystone of totally combined 2M arachnophobiatic views in united 4 arachnophil ascendancies-forums dropped on the 22.4.24 in Necropolis.



HoA arrives in 250M

In [3.24] the former default HoA-virulences- generator stormburst was happy buried in peace and good mood in the graveyards of the Necropolis. After many leagues cyclone is reborn again as valuable channelskill for 100 virulences. The ball lightnings of orbiting and homing tornados of turbulences fit perfect into the cyclone movement skill-set with full damage-uptime. The golden rule is now not needed before lvl 90.

The returning tattoos buffed the build in value of 5-10 passives. The new unique herald-ring circle of ambition was introduced for smaller fine suffixes. The changes to unholy might and the sin's rebirth-flask grant easy withers to free up one more jewel slot.

The Adorned was unbugged and the HoA-poison-setup (abyss-jewels / belt) turned total flexible. The +2 dark seer fits great for fast tankyness.

Spell block, ward and endurance charges were buffed, in exchange determination was nerfed. Taste of Hate became useable for 25% more fast ele-ehp. Asenath's gloves for clearspeed in maps were added. The max HoA-skill-lvl 40 is claimed with the new +8 amulets. For the new t-17 standard the immortal minion fits perfect.

The time arrived to Jugg. Great regenerations in all juice.
Hiero- and Gladiator-variations were pathed, last the Scion launched and the circle of the Allstars closed.


Phrecia

In "The Legacy of Phrecia" cheapest geared the build reached 660M, up to 1.1 billion damage in the herald-event-ascendancy.


[3.26] Secrets of the Atlas: A full billion

Reacting to the merc-group-debuff of 25% higher damage taken the build turned from CI over into hybrid life+es.
Dps and recovery were doubled.
The buffed buddy Animate Guardian sides us too.
200 M in lowest budget top tanky and up to 1.3 B are stinged.


Meta-ready?

With these huge buffs to movement, qol, defences and damage the Herald of Agony is probably meta-minion ready again. I don't see since [3.24] another minion-build to scale up better. B.i.s. geared in high-budget 1360M damage are stinged in tanky 300k-1M ehp.

The eight useable ascendancies alternate 30%-40% in damage, tankyness and recovery and have their own specialities.

Choose your class depending on your poe-experiences, your playstyle and your favourite poe-content:

Without much poe-experiences start relaxed into PoHoA as Trickster for total best tankyness.

I recommend to level with poisonous concoction etc., see "tipps for levelling", when you are not experienced buffing HoA and minions.
Ready for red mapping early. 6M dps, 400k ehp possible at lvl 85 with cheapest gear without awakened supports because the HoA scales most damage with easy to craft medium clusters, cheap ghastly jewels, curses and withers.
In end of first week in league ranked first top 1 achieved in the guardian-ascendancy soloplay, leaderboard of necromancers already archieved in week 2 of the first active league of the build.

I solo-levelled Necro deathless to 100 in full juiced red delirium-maps with increased-swarms and density of full buffed exarch-altars.
Earlier I played lvl100 Guardian myself with t16 red maps, heists and deeper delve.
I played Pathfinder to lvl 100 and Trickster deathless in lvl 90-100 in full delirium-beyond-juiced 10k wisps-affliction. As Champ lvl 90-99 were done with 2 deaths, relaxed in low 3k es, in allflames-necropolis high juiced maps, b2b, rogueexiles, delirium and beyond. Jugg died 4x in lvl 80-100 in max-juided beyond - delirium - ritual - ultimatum mapping, Scion lvl 80-100 died 4x in 3.26 16.5 content.
While most other builds go only for 20-200k ehp, this build's focus on defences, enabling 1M - to inf* ehp and lvl 100 in all content.

Also without top-gear: Large es/ block is most safe against poe's lags and disconnects.

Allrounder

Best fitting for t17, simulacrums, delve, bossing, deliriums, logbooks, heists, blights etc.
HoA is immortal - optimal for boss-hunting
Easy to balance and to specialize for individual content and goals in endgame.
Much space to play and vary with skills, passives, keystones, clusters, supports and gear slots.
In groupplay and with Mercs great supporting with auras and curses.


CONTRA

On maps with the No-Mana-Recovery-Mod you have to take in a shaper-ring or enduring-mana bottle and must map slow or reroll.

Heavy ground damage can still kill you (exception is our immunity to burning, shocking and caustic ground).

Overall not best, not cheap and not easy leaguestarter!
Shield and armour are expensive in the first days of last leagues.
In leaguestart often alternative 2c gear is needed in these slots because of pricefixers/ high prices.
High prizes are often leaguestart prizes. Ongoing in league they will change. Support and demand changes through the first weeks much in trade.
Not cheap when you max your watcher's eye, amulet and voices - but still much cheaper as other meta-builds.

In Ssf HoAg is strong extreme not optimized, but much more difficult to collect the unique gear, HoA-rings and clusters.

Complex to max - not easy to optimize all mechanics, you will need your time and some know-how to scale HoA-damage, recovery, trigger, keystones, jewels and clusters and to balance the mana. But as result you learn in this build almost everything about many core-mechanics, global defences and tanky keystones in the whole northern and eastern tree.

When you take the tanky nodes "only" 50 - 500 millions singletarget shaper-dps. That is more than enough for all ubers. You will rush through the maps with your 150% added movement and 42-142 mill. piercing and forking mapping-damage. You have no downtimes of your damage because you are tank and you have ranged DD's, dot and autobomb-damage. But sorry, you don't oneshot the Ubers compared to the glascannons and only-bossers in the neighboorships.

Because the poe-engine hardcaps the HoA-lvl and dot-damage not easy to buff above 1200M damage.

Yes of course, we all know that a long, long time, the ggg-engine caps all dot exact at 35.7M, what`s the problem?

HoA does hit- (50-300M), crit- (0-800M) and dot-damage (15-36M) united in this build.

In one pob the HoA-dot overflows by 200k a tiny little bit the ggg-engine-dot-hardcap, no problem, that`s less than 0.1% of the total 250M HoA-damage in that pob (in ordinary content, not expanded hardcap against ubers of course too) - did you meant that?
