Exalted Orb Recipe

I was winding down last night and clicked on an old link for an old currency exchange site turned currency selling site.

What I noticed was that the item selling sites have horded Exalts and are now selling them at more than 3:1 the cost of divine and at ridiculous ratios relative to the lower tier orbs.

GGG if this is indeed to be an anti-pay-to-play system we need an Exalt recipe to stabilize the economy and to screw over the item sites.

I love GGG stance on those sites and applaud their effort to combat them.

My suggestion for Exalt recipe: One of every other orb = 1 exalt

1x ID/Port/aug/transmute/chrome/alt/chance/chisel/fuse/alch/scour/blessed/chaos/regret/regal/gcp/divine

It's a lot for one higher tier orb but would help everyone except the item stores.

Currently in HC 1 of everything would go for about 15 Chaos. This recipe would drag the value up for some of the less-used yet rare orbs like divine/blessed/regret.

It would keep us, the players, self-sufficient.

Maybe it's stupid, just think it would help the players out and screw the item sites over and that made me smile.

Yeah, anything reasonable but elegant would work.

Anything to take back control of the economy from seller sites.

what makes you say rmt sites dictates/influence values of one orb relative to another?

every exalted orb recipe will profit multiboxers and rmt business 6x more than normal player

if you did this, exalts would PLUMMET in value and godly gear would be everywhere, would break the economy and make exalt sooooooo easy to get

Not really, it would make GCP more valuable because right now they are losing their value. That's why its 7 GCP to an exalt or more now. Hardly anyone uses GCP and they are just stacking up in the economy. Chaos has a reasonable recipe if you have a decent amount of IIR, but people are so hell bent on maximizing their DPS that they don't bother with it.

That's why everyone thinks that multiboxers are the problem. Stack some IIR, farm some merc maps and you'll be swimming in Chaos. Superior gems are far more rare than a full set of random rares.

As long as there are items of value that you have to hunt for, RMT sites will sell those things for money. Changing the values of different items slightly won't affect the RMT sites very much.

If they want to fix the RMT site problems, they'd either have to offer their own RMT service, or make it so none of the in-game items have any trading value. Neither of those things are going to happen, so RMT sites are picking up the slack.
