Probably the closest thing to a Simplex Amulet that I will get this league unless I get an absurdly lucky streak of drops:

Heya, love the Ice Dancing build and wanted to ask if other Ascendancies will perform as good as Trickster (or slightly lower) or if Trickster is God-Tier while the others are all Garbage-Tier

You will get (Occultist): -20% res to cold res with nearby enemies 15% more cold damage Curses free explode - no need use gravebind to explosions on merc anymore, you can use it in another role, for rarity as example, or use str merc with Kingsmaker for extra crit Free extra curse and hexproof enemies ignore - no need Whispers of Doom, extra points or annoint You loose (for not choosing Trickster): A lot of leech and overleech flow Minus ~18-20 more damage (from Polymatch) and powerfull recoveries (without mercs gravebind) which is kinda offsets with "15% more cold damage on Occultist. Minus 12-15k evasion (because you will use pure ES chest on Occul), ie chance to evade. Minus Frenzy charges (without Swift Killer in will be not reliable) or minus 40% damage less reduction (Heartstopper), that's loss of ~20% more damage (on 5 charges) and 20% cast speed (faster ramping) or a layer of surviveability. Overall: Occultist has better clear with her explosions without merc and can curse hexproof enemies, but damage output will be lower than Tricksters and surviveability will be worse due weaker leech and loss of extra defense layers. " I played the Ascendant(Scion) version. The cons is pretty much the same as lacnee mentioned, no overleech and less defensive layers. As for pros: -Ascendant ver has complete stun immunity and easy access to 2nd curse through Occultis ascendancy. -It also has cheap and easy access 25% mana reservation through Guardian ascendancy which allows you to run the 4th and 5th auras earlier. -1 extra jewel slot Dernière édition par mrnb9x#4771, le 19 juil. 2025 à 15:30:44
