[3.25] Ice Dancing Queen - Icestorm/Cyclone/CI - Viable For Everything
" Nope. It doesn't make you do 40% MORE damage. It just adds 40% Increased damage to the 600-700% you already have from multiple other sources with this build. The lack of clarity about Increased and MORE damage modifiers is one of the biggest pet peeves of this game's design. |

" For 50c it's probably fine. But the Damage Per Int mod is far better than some extra attributes. Increasing your Int is not enough, you need to put it to work ;p Increased Max ES has very little value for an Int stacking build since you get your ES from Int scaling. " Sorry, that's not good at all for 5 Div. Sell it if you can. You can craft a better amulet for 1 Awakener orb (40c?) and some Alterations. See the new Gearing Guide. |

" No. I wouldn't drop Aspect of the Spider for an aura that adds a comparable increase in damage without the defensive benefit and costs a lot more mana. Hatred is a high end addition that requires Enlighten 4 (or even Awakened) and some skill point investment at the highest levels. But it's way too advanced and expensive to try unless you really know what you are doing. At which point it's just a massive overkill anyway. |

" Nope. CwC lv 15-16 is still the best. You get the max uptime for each storm. Which is great for cycloning through the map and not waiting for things to die before you move on. |

" At the start of the league I went after Harbingers because of the new Fracturing orb. That proved to be a mistake and a waste of Atlas points. I found a grand total of ONE SHARD in a week of farming Harbingers before dropping that crap. I've tried Delirium with Breaches and Abysses too. The problem with farming those mechanics (as well as Harbingers) is that they take too much of your time. Sure, there are lots of mobs to kill. But you clear fewer maps per hour. Meaning that you get your Exarch/Eater invitations slower, you kill fewer red/blue influenced mobs and get less currency from them, you kill fewer map bosses and drop fewer guardian/slayer/synth maps, and you get fewer Sanctum portals (or whatever the current league mechanic). Always invest into the guardian/slayer/synth map drop chance. If you don't farm them yourself you can sell them for a nice side profit. Invest 3 (or is it 4) points with Kirac to get 60% more chance of dropping reports. Any time you get a mission from him, roll it till you get a good special map. Before Sanctum, my favorite Atlas mechanic was Expedition. For the sheer amount of various currency it brings. It's very helpful early in a new league to have an endless supply of alchs, vaals, alts, and just chaos orbs. I've been doing it for the first 2 weeks and got a few Divines from Tujen as well. I'm sure Sanctum will get added to the core game, and it will be my new favorite though. Another easy and profitable mechanic is Incursion. You can complete a full temple in 3 maps and almost always get either Doryani or T3 corrupter. And those sell REALLY well. Don't bother fully clearing it. Just upgrade the rooms and establish some minimal connections. Maven sucks. Do all maps with either blue or red influence. I got baited by the Divine drop chance in Blue. But the Red is actually better. You get showered in chaos orbs. You'll find more than 250 of them in Red (a LOT more) per Divine in Blue. And then there is Pack Size. I already liked the keystone that disables small nodes and gives you pack size for large nodes. And now they added another one that converts the trash scarabs into even more pack size! I've been running 100%+ pack size for most of the league. The amount of xp is insane. And the drops from the massive eldritch packs/altars. My favorite maps are Defiled Cathedral and Crimson Temple. They have very easy layouts. CT is less linear but spawns more altars for some reason. And these 2 maps have a chance of dropping Enlighten and Mageblood cards. " It's 20% more instead of 15% increased damage taken, which is relatively substantial. Also, don't forget that it opens up really good damage mods on the Watcher's Eye. Thanks for the update and great work! |
|
" Relatively ;p The investment required to fit in an aura that eats 50% mana will reduce your damage by a small amount only to be increased back by Hatred. Just play around in PoB and see the difference. Making it work for a meaningful damage increase is complicated and expensive. Dernière édition par Kelvynn#6607, le 13 janv. 2023 23:36:16

" You just need Enlighten 3 + charisma annoint. If you switch Steelwood Stance, you lose some block chance for 10-15% more damage, which seems like a good trade to me, considering the sheer tankiness of the build. Enlighten 4 can let you drop the Charisma annoint, but that is indeed pricey. It does require finding a gem slot, though. What are your thoughts on putting Wave of Conviction directly in the Curse setup instead of Ball Lightning? I'm curious to hear your thoughts. |

What are your guys thoughts on an invocation to add?
