I think spamming is the bigger issue. Your IGN is easy to get in nearly any game (at least on xbox).

I do hope GGG puts in some of these limiters:
timeouts and limits to trade requests
ability to block people
must be logged into console accounts before using the website at all
offer rejections without a reply means no counter offer or re-offer on items
