Reflect build?

How would life leech tie in with this? Would it mean that if you don't get one shot you are effectively healed when hit by monsters?

this is the best reflect build I have seen. Its based around tempest shield and ethereal knives. Its crazy expensive but you can make similar less effective versions of it without shavs.

I was trying to theory craft making a build around the Bramblejack chest the other day. I tested double redbeak, low life and it didn't seem to increase any damage reflected at all.

I thought it would triple the damage reflected... so 90%? Combine it with the punishment curse and get over 100%? Not sure why it didn't work.

Passive damage sources can't be primary or they would be too easy to automate.

Fair point
What if you went with a super amount of life and energy shield? Throw in the anvil necklace with bramble and a nice spike shield. on top of that cast on dmg taken - punishment and have tempest shield up. Then you are talking around 8k health and 3k ES. plus a few thousand damage reflected? sounds viable but very expensive.
I think molten shell is the only viable "reflect" build, in reality, because u actually want to max out your armor and take as little damage as possible to do as much damage as possible in return.

I think this is the proper reflect build...

Yes it can be done but it's a PvP build and takes insane gear.

I had a reflect guy in closed beta and i ran into another guy with a similar build a few months back.

Basicaly u want to make a strength based spell caster stacking life / armour / spell damage and thorns, and a 6 link chest with a 6 link Searing touch. Not cheap.

Then basicaly just run molten shell and tempest shild with as much alpha damage and leach u can get out of them. don't use cast on damage taken manual cas molten shell.

Also use a high damage attack like spark at close range, stay close to your enemey to try to shock stack him since it will make tempest shild hurt him like mad also if he is shock stacked and he crits his crit will do more damage to him with tempest shild than u ;)

i imagin things would of changed with this build alot since i used it probley ways to make it better with the curse and cast on damage gem.

Just a sec let me grab a beer...@#*@ Ok how did I die this time

Learn the rules, it's the only way to exploit them.
I ran something like this pre-release. I basically made a starter build and went pure tank when I was getting started. Stacking reflect gear with life regen I actually did ok damage and surprised a lot of people. I actually got bored this morning was put some thought into it, I'm thinking running massively high hp and regen, and using trigger gems since I found a quality CoDT gem the other day and it boosts supported skills damage. I'm actually about to sit down and go over some stats and skills if you have any ideas you can message me and we can try something together.
