The her is "the mother of two". The mother of Sin and Innocence. The nomad that is being talked to in the leaked unique flavor text is most likely Innocence. At the end of the acts he fled to the south to the land of ice and ash to wander in search of redemption. This is why she says something about watching his struggles for a long time.

Also, the flavor text for the eye of innocence uses similar wording and capitalization of the S letter, like in the uncovered portion of the unique flavor text. So, the text is probably going to be for the "Eye of Sin"

Just my theory tho.

Lots of good feedback in these posts (although many have a negative bias). Sadly, they are all for naught since any suggestions are moot ... the next league is already designed. It will either be good or still have a lot of the issues the present end game has. We will have to either live with it, or just not play. I for one give every league a shot, and try to buy all the supporter packs I can afford. Despite all of its issues, PoE is still the best ARPG out there (right now).

I too am not crazy about the end game. The Heist league was the first time ever (in 7+ years?) that I was hate grinding my way to 37 challenges (please stop with the unimaginative "complete the atlas objectives"!). I was very happy to hear they were delaying the new league ... first time I ever burnt out on PoE! The atlas is indeed too complicated and I have lost the feeling of "exploration". It's just work now.

Anyhow I'm rambling. The thing I want to say, in hopes that someone at GGG reads this, is to find a more formal way to tally up feedback on the game. I know they read all the good/bad comments, scroll reddit, and talk to content creators and streamers, etc. But, can we get like a legit survey done? Things that would make us play more, support GGG more, and so on? It feels like a lot of good ideas just echo into a dark void and are not heard or reinforced by the community. The average players (not the top 0.01%). I fear the company is building too much tunnel vision and has lost a clear roadmap of what made PoE so great.

I think League Stones would be awesome. I personally loved Legacy League and the Flashback event currently going on now. I feel it would be cool to be able to have any league you want in your maps. If you want legion and delirium etc you can socket in the league Stones . I always seem to lose interest in early maps and idk why. I've been playing POE since 2011 back when there was only 2 acts!Dont get me wrong I love the game but I'm just looking for something big to draw me back in. I'm interested to hear what you guys think?

Why did they not mention that they wanted to make end game more enjoyable? I'm so tired of mapping.

Although it's important to note that the new storyline exists in addition to and parallel to the existing Atlas content.

I play since early BETA where Dominus was End-Game and Glare was the best weapon in the game. I know all of POE pretty much and EVEN I can't get used to all of stuff what is there now. If POE 2 does not clean up 90% of the game, this is doomed....
