3.13 Launch Delayed until January
|
I love Heist, so playing it longer is fine by me, just dont close the league for some silly race league please. Let Heist run over Christmas and maybe just add something unique like Harvest crafting.
As for Cyberpunk, not going to play it, heard about it but thats it. It´s certainly not a Fallout or Elder Scrolls, nor a WOW expansion where I would drop POE for. If the league mechanic is crap, then I wouldnt play POE anyways, no matter what other games are released. January I dont play video games, so I will check the league at February then. |

I can live with a later season start. Nobody likes a game who is not ready.
but please - dont use such excuses - its not your level... |

tbh, I don't care about Cyberpunk atm. Maybe I'll play it next year when I can get it for $10. Sorry but delaying a league because of another game makes you look really weak, imo.
If you actually need extra time in order to polish the new league and make sure it has all the content in it already and there are no game-breaking crashes, then by all means, take all the time you need. Take an extra 6 months, I don't care, I just want good, polished leagues. I personally like the idea of extra long leagues, anyways. There never seems to be enough time to do everything I want to do. And for the players that are bored of the old leagues, bring back the public races, battle royale and short flashback leagues, those are always popular. Still respect you, GGG. Just please do the right thing. Dernière édition par RyogaHibiki#6513, le 28 oct. 2020 à 21:45:15

GGG likes to build hype for their leagues and they use Streamers as one of the ways to do it. So even if some players weren't going to be playing Cyberpunk, the Streamers were.
And thus it would have been a major fizzle to launch one day afterwards. Which would be a shame given all the work GGG puts into these leagues. Good Call. Now if WoW: Shadowlands uses Cyberpunk as another delay excuse, that's going to be a whole different matter.... |

Who came up with the idea? This is stupid!
This season is boring,I expect 4.0 to come out soon |

" as it's most likely bound to happen. |

tl;dr when given an opportunity to better QA the product they're instead devoting that time to new buggy content.

In before Cyberpunk gets delayed till March...

" Not Likely. Cyberpunk's core game has been ready for well over a month now. The delay was due to them needing to make sure it would play across all the various kiddie platforms. |

PSA: Cyberpunk wasn't delayed to polish console releases. It was purposely delayed to sell better when not launching alongside PS5/XBSX and it's launch titles.
Now PoE league is delayed to get more playerbase (and in return, sell mtx better) when not launching alongside CP2077. Hmm now what's next in being delayed to not launch alongside PoE league. Massive Wolcen update? Titan Quest 2? Diablo 4?? Lol this is getting ridiculous. I've been working this entire year, at a time remotely but still at full efficiency, so using covid as an excuse for delays was already pretty farfetched. But to avoid clashing with CP2077 is a joke. The game is way overhyped. Witcher 3 was already far overrated enough as it is, I played it for 15-20 hours and got bored. Cmon. edit: I was going to book time off for the next league, since I have a lot of excess vacation time, because, you guess it. Covid, and also busy season is finally ending at my work. But aight. If this next league is a buggy crashfest, I will be pretty shocked. Dernière édition par dizz#2756, le 28 oct. 2020 à 21:51:29
