The Future of Stash Tabs

This is why I purchased the tabs. I love this game, I appreciate the hard work and the amount of effort, and heart that goes into this game.

Yes, the tabs shouldn't have been added, because the situation should have been handled differently to begin with. I don't think this means we should not support the company for their hard work.

I think GGG isn't stupid, I think they know what they're doing, and they know the can of worms they opened up by making these tabs. They know going forward things should be addressed ahead of time rather than months later.

No other company makes that clear and defined as GGG. No other company takes time and effort to make posts like these, talking about how upset they were releasing their content but still released it anyways. The humility and passion that GGG possesses is still years ahead of any other company right now.

while i'm against the affinity implementation, i welcome the tab folders.

i mean i've ever been for battle passes for league content and this sounds more and more like a good idea to keep those "OMG, HEY MADE ME SPEND 10 DOLLARS ON THE GAME, CAN YOU IMAGINE!!!1111" hyperbolies out.

Tab folders definitely a must-have already with how crazy things are getting.
Definitely not opposed to affinity either given the number of tabs you need to individually work through to sort it all out from the dump tab these days.

I know you guys can't make it happen yesterday but if it's not priority 1 already it probably should be very close to it at least. Even if the next league runs a few weeks/month late because of it. Especially now you've got a league going that actually feels really well from the get-go.

Very happy with these changes. Do not listen to the masses on Reddit, they are an elite minority with many free to play players that are just jumping on the bandwagon.

The only mistake you made GGG was that you should have spoken about the future of the stash tabs (affinity) which is VERY needed, and then to have launched the tabs shortly after so people can buy the tabs in preparation for the affinity ones.

Please work on the affinity asap though, the game is getting ridiculous, and having yet another stash when tabs aren't enough (seeds) is frustrating.

The game has become inventory and stash simulation... It's detracting from the enjoyment of playing. Make all loot drop 20% less across the board to keep things balanced if you wish.

RMT'ers and botters already use programs to automatically stash items so this won't affect the market too much.

How do you feel qualified to be able to make that assessment?

I find it amusing that that you simultaneously use the words "masses" and "many" then still proclaim it's only a "minority" of players.

Shall I assume that because of the badges next to my name, that I am one of those elite players, and therefore my opinion isn't worth that of someone who plays and/or supports the game less?


Chris said they would not aim to get players to buy more 'currency' tabs. These new league tabs are exactly that under the guise of a different name.

There are already tabs that could have had their slots reworked or added to, which would have the implementation of these new tabs absolutely pointless.

That is one of the unifying arguments being voiced in the 50+ pages of the other thread.

GGG could have made a pro-consumer move, but they opted to go the anti-consumer route, and that has angered a lot of long time backers. (as evidenced in the general sound of resentment both in this thread and the tab announcment thread)
