I'm really sorry for the late response! I forgot to post on my guides that I was going away for over a week. I'm sorry to make you wait.

This build does great global damage if we get hit. Because the build is a block focused build (both for offence and defence) it'll be slow on the boss battles that don't hit fast and furious or have lots of mobs to hit us. Unfortunately, some of the big bosses do fall into the "solo-fight" category.

If you're sure your weapon is decent (I haven't checked) you can always add something like Vulnerability to increase your damage output changing the build up too much.

As the league comes to and end I wanted to once again say thank you for the build. I had more fun trying to do end game content. The build is so tanky it allowed me to make many mistakes as I learned the fights. I think I fought Sirus 8 about 6 times before I was able to kill it. I did it twice to make sure it was not a fluke. The fights were 20 mins long but I got the kill. Only one character for the whole league and it consumed my whole time. Not one moment of boredom. My progression was slow but I had a lot for good times.

Your filters are my favorites and I dont know what I am gonna do once you stop making them :D

That's some great feedback. Thank you! Ya, this build doesn't go quick in some circumstances (when we don't get hit often) but I'm glad that it was fun! Great job getting to Sirus, Sirus 8, fighting him that many times, and being successful! That takes more than a build! Great job! I'm really happy that you found it enjoyable despite the length of some battles.

And you're a filter lover too! Hazaa! ;) I'm a filter lover so even if I end up stopping guide writing (which I doubt) I'll keep on doing filter for sure.

Anyway, thank you for such a kind review and I'm very glad you found it enjoyable as you went through the game. Again, awesome job on Sirus!

Hey GamerNerdRage81!

This is the 3.11 thread here. Ground Slam would work totally fine with this setup and you wouldn't have to change a link at all. The links work with any physical close-range attack!

I just wanted to give you a huge shoutout for what has been a fantastic build for me. I've often struggled with too many visuals on screen and other stressful issues like not understanding the mechanics that I need to dodge, etc. This build has just been absolutely golden for me.

I just hit level 78 and I'm clearing high yellow maps slowly but safely. I am still hoping to crank up the DPS a bit to be able to comfortably jump into red tiers, but I want to finish off the life nodes first. I've put off jewels and the cluster jewel so there's plenty of room there. I also haven't ascended the final time, and I don't have any gems hitting level 20 yet to GCP them, so plenty of room to grow.

If you don't mind, would you take a quick glance at my sword? I think it has around 250-280 pDPS, and I'm struggling to understand if that is "good enough" for high tier maps or not. I can't find very many for sale that are over 300, and very few pushing 350, and I don't have a good enough understanding of how much of a difference that will make. I don't mind dropping lots of currency on good gear as long as the build is promising enough to look like it can earn it (which so far so very very good).

That's very kind of you! I'm glad you've liked the build so much and that it suits your style! Thanks for the encouragement :).

CaptainJarlaxle has a nice weapon! It's good for progress but it won't take you much further than where you're at. Obviously your listed areas of improvement above are good to note (so good for you!) but you're correct that it's the weapon that's now keeping the clear pace on the slower end. The craft sure does save the day though! So you're looking for a weapon that is at least 150% to physical damage. Over 170% would be awesome. The weapon also wants to have a higher flat base of added damage. They work together really well. Swords themselves have a little bit more of a spread when it comes to flat damage so having higher minimum damage on swords is noticeable. So if you can get your minimum added physical damage above 20, that'd be awesome.

I have a question about the movement, dont know if anyone asked about it before (dont know how to search in forum lol), is there any way to move faster to clean faster? ive tried with an unset ring with a leap slam on it, but dont know if theres a better way to do it.

That's some very kind praise. I'm glad you've enjoyed the build! Delve was tough. Don't be discouraged. The more you play, the more it clicks.

With movement skills, you got it. Most people have simply added their preferred movement skill in an unset ring and had a blast. If that's not fast enough for you (and you already have high movement speed boots) then you can start replacing the Tempest Shield link gems with your movement skill and some supports to make it faster. Besides that, it's totally preference-based.
