actually crazy chris. a bafta is a serious award, thats as close to say giving out an oscar comes here in the uk.

look, players criticise, thats people, we are problem solving animals, we criticise ourselves and everything else we come in contact with. its healthy, it drives the game, but so does detaching from that and being proud of the good that has been achieved.


you made by far the best game ever made in this genre, honestly by such a long way i have virtually no expectation that any arpg will ever be made that will match what you have achieved in my lifetime. certainly not without the format of computer games themselves evolving to be unrecognizable to their current form.

this was a one off in a way most genres will never experience, first person shooters will never have such a singular game.



a truly great thing has been achieved, chris, jonathan, erik, rory, the 2 marks and all the other talents whos names go unknown to the wider playerbase. youve all managed what every sincere games dev dreams of and virtually none achieve. when you think about it, no game is more deserving of that award, and no game will likely be in the next decade. and we still havent even reached the final form, its still a chrysalis that promises to unleash something even more amazing.

Congratulations on this Award and to all that contributed directly and indirectly! Let's keep evolution of this game with more Quality vs. Quantity and then we'll see even more accomplishments and awards along with happier playerbase that doesn't leave a league within the 1st month it launches because of so many bugs. Again, congrats to the GGG team for making an overall enjoyable product amidst the challenges y'all face each league bc of a 3-month league schedule **Cough (Maybe a 4-month league schedule is in order for better polished product at launch) Cough**
