Reoccurring Administrator Ban

I also got banned for no reason today when i was working.. i did like 30 maps before going to work and got banned..

"You always have the option to email support and contest your ban, but keep in mind that your "30 maps" likely had nothing to do with the ban. Just think back on the lifetime of your account. Have you ever used 3rd party software? Have you ever created a macro? Neither of these are necessarily violations, but the vast majority of uses of them are. Have you ever done RMT? That pretty much speaks for itself. You may have been falsely flagged for things like playing on a VPN. Playing/trading with your friends in a method GGG's algorithms flag. Any number of things I can't think of. |
|
" Or he could have done nothing wrong like me and just got banned for playing the game... Ive contacted the support staff 5 days ago and still no word, so hopefully your appeal goes through faster.. |

It’s true the algorithms pick up false violations and/or when under review the ban can be overturned, but in my experience most people are either unwilling to admit to ToS breach or ignorant of what they did that was. I know absolutely nothing about anyone’s individual case.

" What is considered third party software? I use PoE.trade to buy stuff. When I think about third party, it's bots and macros none of which I use. |
|
" 3rd party is really anything not created by GGG. There are several things that are perfectly legal, but I'm not about to go in depth to my speculations on what is or isn't. Poe.trade is fine though. Keep in mind that there could be something running on your computer that the game picks up, even if it doesn't directly interact with the game. Again most of these are perfectly fine, and since I'm not a programmer nor GGG staff I can't say how there is an interaction. I haven't the faintest clue why you received the ban, only that there is a reason. Hopefully GGG will allow you enough knowledge of what that reason is so that you can either prove it false or at the very least determine what happened to prevent it from reoccurring. Edit: I just read through your original post again. It could have something to do with Discord, but I doubt it. Try running your task manager in game to see what programs are being run. You might for example have an old AHK script that activates on startup or as soon as you launch the game. Maybe your mouse and/or keyboard has some macro program the game is detecting. Since nothing you are doing "should" be causing these bans, you have to look at everything that shouldn't. Dernière édition par Aldonés#1294, le 7 janv. 2020 à 17:26:25

" Im emailed GGG support when I got banned again asking what it was that is causing my bans and I still havent gotten a message back |

Most of GGG staff is on a 1 month Christmas break. Combine it with all the server issues going on right now, support is heavily backed up and can take several days to respond. Your place in queue is based on when you last emailed them, so if you send multiple inquiries, all you are doing is moving yourself to the back of the line.

Account got unbanned for the 2nd time... Lets see how long it takes for my account to be rebanned for the exact same reasoning...
