Well it does look like it's the Tremor rod with it being effectively a 7L somehow. I don't totally understand, but PoB seems to. Anyway, mystery solved practically!

High impact mine has a 30% reservation multiplier which makes mines reserve very little, allowing us to have a 7 link while investing almost nothing into mana

I purposely didnt put up any DPS numbers because they don't mean anything to me, I only care about how well the build plays, and I think you understand that from your post.

I also hate dying so I only make builds which are tanky but can deal out high DPS. Unless the game takes a dramatic turn I feel that this is the best approach to maximize fun in PoE at least for me personally. Thanks again for your feedback.

In terms of your gear, you can look forward to a lot more potential, you are at about 25 to 30% of maximum DPS, hope you enjoy and feel free to post again with any questions so everyone can benefit.

Though my gear is pretty bad, I feel like I'm at 60-70% of top DPS, but maybe not? Or did you mean 25-30% more I can grow? If not, which pieces do you feel give the most damage increase?

Firstly your gems are low level, you are also using swift assembly which gimps DPS by quite a bit (don't know exactly how much but I did test it myself), unnerve and culling on gloves for another 20% more damage, watcher's eye for 10 to 25% more damage, aul amulet for wrath (22% more damage), bottled faith for (20 to 30% more damage), finally 3 damage affix jewels in tree (final upgrades).

Yeah though I have High Impact only on the other build, it's both together that seems to do it, and interesting interaction that doesn't seem to be on the tooltip.

In PoB at least, most of the damage comes from the gem levels that I'm missing (and awakened gems etc). Swift assembly vs Minefield is the 19 vs 23 mine damage, I'm only using because I've spent all my currency trying to recolor the staff and still can't get 4B-2G. Hopefully one day I can get the right colors :(

Bottled faith I don't really get, maybe PoB doesn't calculate it that well, seems maybe to only apply the 40% dmg increase. Wise Oak and Atziri's promise I guess are similar problems in PoB. I can see Bottled Faith giving a good dmg boost, but when compared to Atziri, I think it isn't as big of a gap. Compared to a defensive flask though I can see it giving a 20% increase.

Got a Doctor card to drop on Xbox and sold it for some fat stacks. My gear besides unique's is pretty much SSF as on Xbox you can search for stuff, but you have to filter through 600 stash pages for helmets alone (unless you want a specific base type). I have all the base types to now try fossil crafting but that will also be annoying. I have killed t16 bosses and what not but I die randomly. Definitely need way more life. Looking forward to crafting some good gear to keep progressing :)

Thanks for the update! I have self crafted or found a lot of my gear and fossil crafting is not too difficult, for helm use pristine/metallic, best base would be conquerer for chance for power charge or crit multi etc. Let me know if any questions. Good luck!

Edit: I can't imagine playing on Xbox let alone a mine build but there are a couple things to be aware of. 1. Our build needs high hp to survive hits and depends a lot on instant life flask. 2. If you can't dodge well you have to focus on killing enemies before the have a chance to hit you, which means increasing your dps.

Honestly - There are some things easier on xbox than pc. For example, X is my mine button. If you want to throw 5 sets of mines you just hold X and bam. My detonate mines is on Right Trigger + X. So I just press the trigger and bam. So I don't even have to move my thumb really. You also have smart flasks. If you have more than 1 of the same flask it automatically uses it if the first one is done. That's assuming we have more than 1 life flask. I'm getting better at dodging. what kills me the most TBH is metamorphs because all of the effects have lagged me up at times where I can't see what to dodge. I think I'm going to use another instant life flask instead of a dps flask too. It helps.

What would be the best watcher's eye? Only zealotry mods, a precision mod (precision lvl 1 can easily be added while keeping 23 mines) or wrath mods?

Damage pen wrath and and damage taken zealotry would be ideal, crit multi precision is very good too.

I'm sure some of you are confused by my current profile, it's because I am testing a glacial cascade version which I think would be superior to ball lightning, however the cost is way more and probably not worth it for most players. This version is also superior for hardcore in that it can freeze and shatter which is far safer than ball lightning.

After more testing I plan to make a more detailed section about this variant.

Interesting, I have my other BL miner I mentioned before, while more DPS in PoE, it doesn't do as much damage to metamorphs I'm nearly certain. Mostly I think this is due to EE vs curses. EE on Malachai's artifice is really strong I think, bosses just have a ton of resists.

I still don't really understand why EE procs from mine hits, but oh well!

I was looking for a corrupt Malachai's with a nice mod, but just want to save anyone else looking the trouble, it removes the socket for the corrupted mod, so no point for us!

EE doesn't proc from mines, it procs from armageddon brand which is socketed in malachai's artifice. And you are right about curses, they are near useless against bosses, which is when you need them the most.
