[3.13] [SSF] Essence Drain Beastmode || Ultimate Guide to Solo Self Found
" I just listed the noteworthy changes and updated the guide for 3.9! All I need now is to wait for the next PoB update to drop and we're set! :-) The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.

I was looking at using this build for my ssf league starter. How much of a dps loss do you think it'll be with the changes to multimod?
|
|
" Answer: not much! We lose some cast speed of course and an easy way to gain Arcane Surge while clearing (and some skill effect duration), but apart from that our overall damage doesn't suffer much. That's because the +1 gems and +2 support are the main sources of damage on Essence Drain The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.

" Can u change the front Page? +2 to Level of Socketed Support Gems is a Pref Thanks and i only will help not Cry Greetings Jens |

" You're right, thanks for pointing that out. :) The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.

Development Manifesto:
"A regular map boss now has (...) 25% Chaos resistance (up from 15%). A very strong boss like the Shaper now has (...) 30% Chaos resistance (up from 25%)." How would this affect this build? Ozon_ |
|
" This change means we deal about 10% less damage against regular bosses and 5% less damage against Shaper. However, GGG is increasing resistances (as well as armour) for all the boss encounters, so this affects us just as much as anyone else. The thing we have going for ourselves though is that we're "penetrating" a lot of chaos resistance through Wither & Despair. Shaper & map bosses will always have negative chaos resistance against us anyway. It's just part of how GGG wants boss fights to last a little longer. :) The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.

Frist, thanks a lot ArtCrusade for this awesome build guide!
I played it as my third build in 3.8 and loved it! Had some good stuff like multimod weapon, +1 curse chest but rest was cheap/self crafted. All contet was a breeze when you got used to the unique 1-2 playstlye. Fast and tanky! This will be my starter for 3.9 and I am hyped right now :D Only worried about the price of Solstice Vigil - depends on how often players will be able to fight shaper i guess... Wish you all a great league start! |
|
" I'll post a PoB without Solstice Vigil once the new patch for Path of Building drops. Basically moving some nodes on the passive tree around and switching out Flesh & Stone for Temp Chains EDIT: Btw guys, I am gonna keep playing my ED character and try and push for 100. I'll probably be posting a couple more videos of just clearing efficiently in case anyone's interested The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.
