Poe has outgrown Trade

It's probably time to rip it out and implement the PS4/X-box system.

This isn't to discredit the OP. It's rapidly gaining popularity. As of writing this, it is 4 hours old and has already gained 1.2k upvotes.

Way I see it people will eventually get fed up with this trade and GGG will be forced to make changes, same deal as desync.

Yepp the question is which way they will go...

Improve trade or go SSF only? Personally, I like both.


I'll give it about a year before they will be "forced" to make that decision.

The complaints make it clear that there is a minority who demands instant buyout options ingame.

When a new league starts, someone just has to write a script that will swoop up all high tier maps that come up for sale and post them at much higher prices. The outrage will be insane.

The amount of price fixing will become even worse. And those who use forum gold for ingame advantages, will have it even easier.

Did the AH make trading in D3 worse? I don't remember, it was such a pleasant experience I cant even imagine the game without it.

I'm pretty sure that it's very intended, everything is fluctuating and it's a skill on its own to be able to evalutate one item's worth.

Have you ever considered that your expectations are part of the (your?) problem in this case ?
You are not supposed to find the perfect rare for your character, or it's mereley extremely unlikely to happen, better say impossible.
Of course, 'right rare' is subjective so this is why this is a geniune question to you : don't you think that your expectations might be just off ?

Why would should you be able to trade with a player while being very busy fighting a boss or in the middle of a huge pack of monsters in a Delve ?
No, that would not make much sense.

However, I think that GGG has acknowledge that asynchronus trading is one thing that they want to implement in the future ( so trading from a different instance, to allow trading from Delves or Labyrinth )

I agree that the system right now is having problems with the laod of people. Sometimes i try to buy a map and can whisper everyone as far as i can scroll on poe trade, and nobody answers. i would be willing to pay even mroe for the map if someone would just answer and i dont ahve to spend half an hour do grab a single map.
