PoE an mmo?

Actually that's exactly the kind of attitude the article addresses. It states how many online gamers want MMOs and the 'Warcraft experience' so much that developers go for this model despite it having sound arguments against it.

I don't think PoE should even try the traditional MMO thing just because there is a mainstream population of gamers who regard themselves as 'pro MMO players' and refuse to play anything else.

They should, instead, focus on making a good game that appeals greatly to an identified market.

That was very well put, StealthNerf, and I believe precisely what they are doing.
If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between.

Not related to the topic, but I sat down and read that.

It really made me smile. I am impressed. Towards the end, it felt almost like I was being addressed personally, everything I read I liked.

I'm just so happy to be a part of this project, and watch it grow.
