If you have CE error... Rebuild your PS4 Database.

You’re suppose to rebuild your PS4 database at least once a week... It’s the same thing as defragmenting your PC. It’s super easy.

Power off your PlayStation 4 and do not use rest mode. Hold the power button down until you hear two quick beeps. Connect your DualShock 4 controller to your USB-A slot in the front of the PlayStation 4 using the cord. Scroll down in the menu until you reach option 5 called Rebuild Database.

This resolves the CE code errors 90% of the time...

This normally only helps if you get the ce-34878-0 error with all games. When one game is crashing in particular, it's usually the game to blame.

Can’t really comment on that... However I usually call Sony support before blaming games. Last representative I spoke to taught me how to take care of my PS4. Ps4 has to adapt to games as well...

The "you have left the party" bug was not GGG fault, it was Sony’s. Every studio has to go through certification and they have to pass. That certification is required with every update... I digress. Majority of crashes are due to players not taking care of their consoles. Consoles are computers, they need a cool open area and like all computer drives they need to get defragged especially if players have a million things downloaded.

Expectation and responsibility goes hand in hand... We expect a smooth transition however don’t expect a miracle with a console that has been abused.

I have had two crashes and come across one bug... So far I am able to play religiously right now. That’s 25hrs of playtime out of my spring break. Also you can get that error without playing a game... Tell tale sign Ps4 is on its last legs. 25hrs two crashes pretty damn good compared to some games like... cough Anthem.

My PS4 is 4 years old, has a 1TB hybrid internal and 2TB external with more than a hundred titles installed/removed/reinstalled. I don't have any problems and won't do this regularly but maybe this will be a breath of fresh air for it.

You’re going to see a massive difference in errors... Not to say they won’t happen but less frequently. I’m in the minority I guess because started playing PoE soon as it was released and pretty amazed how smooth the game played for me. You be surprised how horribly people take care of their consoles.

In a sense I’m glad I had a bit of rubber banding and jittering because the changes I made personally also helped with other devices. I had no idea my connection was suffering...

I had a friend who’s very ocd and likes to hide everything behind cabinets, suffice to say I warned him to take his Ps4 out of the cabinet while playing... We all can guess what happened.

but to claim it would prevent 90% of crashes is completely absurd
at least when it comes to Path of Exile

after the latest PS4 OS update i did a database rebuild and the game still crashed quite often - actually, no significant improvement at all

don't expect too much - especially no "massive improvement"

I have to disagree on that... Are you familiar with Anthem? Countless people crashing, turned out they were not rebuilding their databases. I was one of the few that experienced fewer crashes than the rest of the population. I wouldn’t bullshit, I have the logs on my PS4 how many times it has crashed. As a matter of fact GGG can easily pull up my account on PS4 and confirm... And trust me when I say this, they can and will blast any player that tries to create some defamation. It’s been done before...

It doesn't fix the nasty act 8 crashes. But it definitely helped in other areas I was having issues. Thank you.

yeah got my first crashes so far at act 8, but also the tearing is a way to annoying hope they can fix it asap.
