I am also having a similar problem. Last night I gave the PS4 a fresh initialization and loaded PoE again. When I logged on I was able to play a new character up to experience level 7 with no issue and then switched to my main, who is in the Sarn encampment in Act 8, and was able to leave and do some story quests. When I came back to the encampment a BSoD quickly greeted me as it did last night.
No other problems for me up until this point and I'm loving the game so far. Thank you, GGG, and keep up the great work! Dernière édition par KittyThePet#5341, le 1 avr. 2019 à 08:29:12

Hello,
We're aware of this issue and have a fix in the next patch, which we're currently working on. We hope to have this deployed in the near future. In the meantime, try to minimise the time spent in this town area until we've deployed the update. | |
This doesnt only happen in act 8, I get this 5-14 times a day. Normally when I try to travel from one act to another, or if I just go via psn button to read a message. Coming back, lag, and disconnect. I havent even finished eternal labyrinth because of this. Wasted 5 stones already to get disconnected during the last 2 or 3 areas. Nice.. not...
Happens also during maps, not all, but a lot. Lucky me the gates are still open after relog. Dernière édition par schwurbemesser#5887, le 27 avr. 2019 à 18:59:59

" That's because there are a lot of crashes, and the PS4 isn't very helpful when it comes to telling you what happened. Error code CE-34878-0 is just a technical way of saying "it crashed"; not that a specific type of crash occurred, just a crash in the broad sense. The crash in this case was a rare case of a particular crash that was so reliable and predictable that it was guaranteed to occur: go to Act 8 Sarn City and wait... you would crash within 5-10 minutes no matter what you were doing. Thankfully that crash has been identified and fixed just as Jeff_GGG says. Other cases are much harder to figure out. We all (or most of us) experience periodic crashes when travelling between areas. I've also had crashes occur at random in the middle of maps (I suspect Intervention may be the culprit), and I've also had crashes occur when touching a Breach. The problem is, they're not reproduceable. Or, more accurately, whatever you did which crashed the game can seemingly always be done without any problems upon reloading the game again. Crash while loading an area? Reload the game, try to load into the same area and you won't crash this time. That suggests to me that we're dealing with a memory-related issue, or the game becoming less and less stable over time. Your actions in the game cause instability to accumulate, and once it reaches a critical point the game *will* crash the very next time something needs to be loaded or created in memory, regardless of what you were trying to do. That the crash usually occurs when things are being loaded or new things are being spawned into a map would suggest to me this instability is a memory leak; eventually the game eats-up all the PS4's RAM and the system can't provide any more, the game unexpectedly can't load what it needs to load, resulting in a crash. The app closing via the crash releases all the wasted inaccessible memory so when you reload there's plenty of RAM to do whatever needs to be done, until it all gets wasted again. Spending a lot of time in the Azurite Mine tends to cause the game to crash as soon as you use the waypoint to leave. Spend a lot of time doing maps or other content, then try to visit the Azurite Mine, and you're likely to suddenly get a crash. It's almost like the Azurite Mine needs a bigger than normal slice of memory up-front, and even more as you delve, meaning any memory leaks can be a whole lot more devastating there, while at the same time if too much memory has already leaked from activity elsewhere there might not be enough left to load the mine - hence all the crashing whenever you try to visit or leave the place (which won't happen if you only recently launched the game). I got it just seconds ago... my client changed to german. all currency and gems now have german names that they did not had all the day before. Guess you are right with loading stuff, and the localiziation might be still buggy.

Now again, and the client is english again, all gems and currency are renamed to english.
I hope that´s enough info for reproducing it. Dernière édition par schwurbemesser#5887, le 29 avr. 2019 à 21:17:10
