Game minimizing

Try UAC, if using a WLAN program run that not minimized

Upgrading my graphic card drivers made absolutely no difference. It occurs randomly still.

Was just now eating ice cream, not even touching keyboard/mouse and PoE minimized to Skype in the background (nothing was happening with Skype). A bit earlier the same thing happened while playing, the game minimizing brining this forum to focus.

I'm using Fullscreen mode.

I cannot see any obvious reason as to why this is occuring, the window behind PoE never seems to do anything actively to take focus...

I think its skype or other program alike related. I have had this same thing happen in different games but only when using skype.

I have the same fuken problem. Sometimes it happanes when someone msgs me on facebook or when i have stream in background. It never happaned before i've restarted playing on beyond league. (I've been closed beta player). This is making me pretty nervous while mapping. Also it happanes twice in a short duration of time, and than I can feel save. After first "alt+tab" i just go to the city and wait for another. GGG pls nerf

This can happen if an other program/process "steals" the focus, if you play in fullscreen mode.

Some examples it happens to me sometimes:
* windows popup if you plug in a usb/media device
* virus scanner popups
* update notfications
* thunderbird reminder

I don't know if it is technically possible to prevent this, but the best solution is stopping all those programs.

This has been occurring to me too lately. Already happened 3-4 times. Killed every other application and even checked "msconfig" and removed any startup and other services running in the background.

The problem goes away after a few hours and the game starts behaving normally. (Game and Machine restarts dont help at all). This happens all by itself without any action upon my part.

When this minimizing problem occurs the game starts minimizing every 4-5 min. So when it hasnt minimized at all in about 15-20 min I know problem has gone away. But it can be very frustrating not only during Boss fights (when I dont engage the boss till the game minimizes so that I have a proper 4-5min uninterrupted game time).

Zana and Vorici dailys have been very stressful lately owing to this issue.
