Path of Exile: Synthesis Patch Notes

I'm pretty much 100% fixed that I'd go Winter Orb Ele as league starter.
Brain-dead easy league starter with next to no requirement and 0 nerf.

They have been the biggest meta in 3.5 yet they receive next to no nerf whatsoever. (Impulsa has been op for 3 leagues straight, nothing has been done about it) In fact, the channeling has been buffed, and there are new auras that can buff the ele even more ! (Hatred buff, a new aura that grant spell damage! A new aura that increases the skill duration even! You can pick 2 heralds (cuz they're fucking cheap yet op as hell on ele) on top of 1~2 new auras + enlighten for massive dps buff)

PS: Don't give me that bs argument of base crit nerf. You don't have to run controlled destruction, you can always go for Concentration effect + added cold damage for minimal dps lost.

why is there no fix for Favor farming?

Vortex kinda dead

cold snap and arctic breath has almost same DoT with no cooldown (cold snap cooldown can be easyly bypassed)

you guys could improve the damage on it and put a "30% less damage if triggered"

there will be no point on using vortex as selfcast anymore =/

So I have read the article in it's entirety. Thrice.

I have found a large enough percentage of GGG's decisions to be lacking in clarity of vision from my subjective view.

As such the only recourse available to me is to speak with my wallet as I have a small number of other times.

I wish you well with this league. Maybe you will transform it to be less shite later.

Dont see the selfcast buff too.
Its problems not addressed at all.

Edit: Bex, these patch notes aren't sufficient to make the blind people who think fractured or synthesized items can also be "shaper" or "elder" items shut up. Please clarify for them that "new item types" mean "completely mutually exclusive with shaper and elder items".

I'm already 100% sure that this is correct, but I'd really like for them to shut up and stop spreading horrible misinformation sooner, rather than later.

Lacking some pretty critical support gem information here, otherwise I'm really failing to see the selfcasting hype. Also, not seeing all the cast speed on the tree we were told about. Overall, I spent a lot of time poring over these vapid notes only to be left feeling underwhelmed and empty.
