Ok that's actually another discussion, but clearing your old maps from a map stash and placing the new ones without buying a new map tab is not actually a problem...
I mean who the hell would want to keep the old maps ? What's the benefit ? Never invite Vorana, Last To Fall at a beer party.

If you can brave your standard stash to actually try to find something... couldn't find my earlier set... they're in that mess somewhere. OH! That's right! I was playing HC back then... To do it I was forced to empty 3 ordinary tabs to store "new" map ther and spend more then 2 hours to transfer all old maps via 3/1 recipe. In the meantime I lost all of my "unique" maps, as they can't be transferred to other unique via "3/1" recipe and ALL "old" T16, which can't be transferred to anything. And they are useless now - I can oly get guardian fragment by using them. No influence spreading, no Elder guardian killing. Even if I have such guardian on T16, I ca fight him only with "most recent" type of T16. So "Hydra" from Delve will not work. Amd many other problems. Pure robery and moneygrabing, stupid BTW, as playerbase backclash will be stronger with every atlas shuffling. You have been placed on probation for: ● Make hateful or needlessly negative comments ● Personally attack or cause harm to the reputation of others ● Antagonise others in an obnoxious manner ●

I play a league sometimes and I play standard.
PoE is the game I have spend the most money by far (except WoW). A map stash isn't cheap but it WAS a big QoL improvement. In standard my map tab is my greatest annoyance. With hundreds of maps and no 2nd map tab a reorg would be a nightmare. And this every 3 months??? How do GGG think that is a good idea? Are so many players buying extra map tabs? That's kicking your customers in the ass. That nearly stops me playing because what to do with the increasing number of new maps? The new master mission concept demands many different maps, the old one zero. Solutions are easy and were suggested many times: A) Make old map tab(s) remove-only and give us a new one. and/or B) About the (silly) reason "collectors want to keep old maps" to do nothing: Give a map tab (or a npc) a dialog option "convert maps to new ones" |

" No to be honest not really, are you saying that people actually run old maps until the consume them and after that start the new ones ? Isn't it time consuming for no real benefits, since the map drops will be new ones ? Is there something you get from old maps ? I think I get it because I saw a stream with T3 Burial chambers like , the guy had literally 2000 maps to run them for The Doctor. So I guess having 2000 stash space for maps that you farm for something specific which is no longer in use and not being able to do that without investing in a new tab is quite disappointing. But yet again it will ruin the monetization :). Never invite Vorana, Last To Fall at a beer party.

It seemed quite arrogant to me when they proudly announced that they will create new map series for each new league without even mentioning the problems this causes in Standard.
The boards have been talking about this for two full leagues and the answer we finally get from Bex was that she would bring it up after the next league deploys. Fight censorship

They alredy got your money from the first time you bought a map tab so they don't care if you would buy it if you knew the long time issues or not. Be a whale and buy a map tab for each series and give GGG more $$$ or move on from PoE because it's never going to change.
In fact it's been quite a while since map tab was added and they knew this issue from day 1. It's jsut not worthy to fix all since it pushes more people into buying more map tabs.
