How to craft a +2 fire skills staff?

Although I haven´t played ignite brand I don´t think damage is the problem here.
1737 life is rather low but real problem is your elemental resistance.
You should try to cap your resistances at 75 (or at least above 60) with better life.
It´s easy to fix it. You can use purity of elements aura now and get shield with decent life roll and resistances (check attributes requirements!)

If not enough get unique Goldrim or rare helm or whatever to fix your elemental resistance.

Take more life nodes on the passive tree nearby such as Cruel Preparation, Purity of Flesh now.

Craft your flasks to have useful mods (anti bleed + freeze is a good start)
Good endgame flask setup can look like this:


Fill your free sockets with useful gems.
Decoy totem + minion resistance + multiple totem combo will help to distract enemies etc.
