Inexplicable one-shot from a normal mob

Detonate dead or some other corpse explosion, a nemesis mod after death effect, a trap-like thing on the ground.

Maybe wasn't displayed correctly, graphic errors and out of sync effects happen all the time, and the game does not tell you what happened... But you will get used to it.

I'd say this was possible, except this was literally the last mob in the level. I'd cleared the entire thing and was running back through picking up currency. The only reason I missed this mob is because it was behind a pillar.

The proof of that was me returning to it, letting it hit me for ages, and then running around afterwards and there not being anything else in the level.

I really don't know. The mob appeared and hit me and I died from full health. There was no corpse explosion animation, or any other effect at all. It seems like a bug. And if it's happened to me, it must have happened to others.

happened to me in 2014 and even still in 2019 few days ago on a laughable L68 Map as L85........

I never known what honestly could kill my character on these crap maps.....
