900 ES chest - how is it crafted?

I've seen plenty of the shaped Vaal Regalia's with ES in the 850-900 area.
I'm curious how they can roll 200% increased ES. Poeaffix shows a maximum of 152%.

#% increased ES - 110% (Unfaltering)
#% increased ES/Stun and block recovere - 42% (Seraphim's)


Also, some manage to craft #% increased ES a second time.


Can anyone enlighten me on how both scenarios is possible?

check out delve suffixes, 25-50% es suffix from the fossil crafting.

ok, can confirm, I just hit a chest with a dense fossil and it rolled the mod...

Its really crafted through hopes and prayers. You can use delve fossils but still extremely rare to get over 600+

900+ es are legacy pre-nerf era. Even 1000 was possible.

theres 900s in betrayal league with the fossil suffix and the int + extra quality veiled mod. I think the max possible with the current items is probably around 920 now?


our legacy ones are still better because we have 3 proper suffixes tho xD

prenerf, i.e. at end of legacy, the absolute max was 1024 (vaal regalia obviously)! I don't recall but did the 'maff' back then.

Qual, max int,flat es,hybrid and es%. I could log in and check but it would give you exactly 10 bits. If this was purely a coincidence or something to do with original internal implementations, only the devs can answer.

I don't know how much one can reach atm with fossils and shaper mods, I should possibly have a look (haven't been crafting es chests so).

but it should be somewhere along the same things? The values now rely on higher es% than flat es, which also has an influence on how it can maximise one's es value. This is however, a different topic.

Bases were also nerfed (which affected legacy items), so no chest should currently have 1000.

However, once betrayal goes core, crafting the new quality suffixes will let legacy vaal regalias surpass 1000 once again.
