Wow I just realised this isn't even listed in the Known Issues & Frequently Asked Questions !
Well I guess we can put this in the "shut up and buy more map stashes" bag then. Great I will continue to not spend any more money. So players don't care about losing their maps and GGG don't care about Standard anymore ? This game's really taking wrong turns after wrong turns since a few months. After eight freaking years of playing PoE I am starting to think I am going to stop sooner then I expected. I never thought this would happen. The recent constant crashing and progression breaking bugs are a huge hit on my enjoyment of the game. And these serious maps issues are not helping at all. I bought all Premium stash Tabs (Spent about 50/60€ in the game), but i wont buy nothing more from GGG until they come public and state what is happening and why no one give a shit about this problem. You can't talk about it on Reedit because you are downvoted, no one can see your negative opinion about how POE is not f2p, and how they are forcing us to spend more money when you already spent a lot on it. Remember what happened to Diablo a few months ago? It will happen with POE too if they dont change their behavior. The major problem at the moment is the API trade (everyone is crazy about it), and they are giving players the silence treatment xD |

In my case I emptied my map stash tab and it still won't let me change its series.

ok, a fair solution should be:
map tab can hold any series of map to find any map on a specific series, we can change the type from drop down list and it shows maps for that series only... so, like, multiple map tabs holding different map series are combined into one map tab... this way, we dump all maps into map tab, it holds any map... to find a specific map, just filter / select from drop down and reach the one you want... similar concept is found on DC tab... it has a drop down to filter full stack/owned/unowned same concept can be applied to map tab... problem solved! I dont want to buy new tabs every 3 months! I dont wantnew tabs to hold maps for different series... even if it is free to create a new map tab instance (if u already purchased one), after 5 years, i dont want to see 20 map tabs!!! no body wants to pay a new tab for every leage, cmon GGG! |

" This is happening because map tiers are changed. Its not reflected to texts on the maps/atlas. Check old maps what tier on them and check your atlas what tier it is there. Currently this case is for old maps (from old leagues i believe). However, also its changed on servers but not map items (something like this). Forexample, you can have 2 Dunes maps. One of it has a text is saying "Tier 7" and other one is saying "Tier 5". If map drop after merge it will reflect current atlas tier of itself. If map from before merge probably its reflecting previous atlas tier. In short, both maps are same area but different tiers due initialization of Synthesis. Probably, thats why you cant put maps in there, nor thats why you can not complete some maps on atlas even if you have killed boss. I believe Friday patch will fix this.
