Just want to say Thank you for this great guide/build

After some investment, this build plays really nice for me right now. The damage is great in combination with the new warcry.

For now i just switched gloves because i dont have the additional curse on my chest and have a curse on my ring.

I definitely want to invest some more in this build, its really fun to play.

not really sure how it works but if anyone could shed some light on the utility of it id really appreciate it/ edit: (solved) you cry and your next two hits are double (not sure if works with vaal eq though)

also heres a update on my gear. running t10+ on this loadout no issues, havent even botherd scaling damage yet and already feels like i have plenty of it. aoe is hooge i love it :D ! odd rare death but it takes some serious overwhelming.

looking to get the right flask setup next + 6 link this staff. these temp chain gloves need to be replaced soon too for that extra deeps, abyssus/loreweave are on the agenda after all thats sorted :D

can confirm you can map in red tier with less than an exalt invested, gloves was 15c / body was 50c (crafted with essence) /ring was 40c the 5l staff i linked myself from the stuff i had found leveling. my rare items was of poe.trade all under 10c items.

my tip would be focus on your block and life nodes, the damage scales itself if your 6 linked

the cinderswallow flask... do i need any one or the 3% life one?

btw to anyone not using a blood of your karui your missing out! pog item! and there cheap as shiz :D

I'm loving this build right now and as someone who has played Mace and Staff variant of this build, I wholeheartedly suggest the staff variant. The extra tankiness is a plus, and you should be able to get plenty enough damage without going Maces. Most importantly though, the staff feeds like a much better mapping experience. The Marohi Erqi may have shit tons of damage, but it's attack speed is so slow that you will often eat the projectiles of an entire pack before your mace hits the ground and triggers EQ. The build becomes too slow and clunky and you will find yourself dying more often than not because of it. A great build, but I don't recommend using the Marohi Erqi with this build as is.

Currently playing the mace version, its fine but it is another playstyle. The situation you describe sounds like a bad leap slam without stuns.
But i agree with the fact that the staff version should have plenty of damage too.
