Is levelling with Blade Vortex as soon as I get it (level 12) gonna be fine or it's gonna feel terrible? :/

" My personal take on BV with lvling was it sucked up until spell echo. Now with the new mechanism,it can possibly be much better. fastercast does help a lot aswell. |

Anyone has an Idea how this Build would fare without an Impulsa? I´m guessing the Price for that will spike up a lot after all those "Starter Build" recommendations, and since i´ve never been lucky with drops.... (took me 900 Hours played to find my first Ex :D )

" I think you're definitely right about it being overkill, though it will probably be quite useful in the earlier stages of mapping (well, map boss killing) if your gear isn't great. After spending some time trying to fit it in to my sockets, I did come to the conclusion that we're quite socket starved, so yeah, I'm not sure what I could really give up for it. I guess it's the kind of thing where if it drops for me, I'll give it a go, but otherwise I won't go out of my way for it. |

" It's absolutely playable without an Inpulsa, you just won't get screen clearing explosions. Your heralds will clean up most mobs, but you'll likely have to put a little effort in to killing any stragglers left over. If you check the first post in this thread, the video section shows OP killing shaper without an Inpulsa, so the damage is definitely there, and Inpulsa is mostly just for clearspeed (though the increased shock effectiveness does help with bosses slightly). |

" OP says something about lvl 35-38, as soon as you can finish normal Lab. With the reduced number of Vortex stacks to keep up it might be viable earlier, since you only have to keep up 10 stacks instead of 20. Guess thats something to try out |
