Highest DPS build?

So I'm curious what build(in theory) could produce highest DPS possible. Definitely crit one, but what skill? What Class? etc.

Blade flurry and barrage also have dps that is so high that content becomes irrelevant.

You're just going to get people arguing about what DPS means. There's no way to "maximize" that value without defining it... and there's no one accepted definition. If you use PoB, you'll get one number, but it doesn't take into account the environment in the game. It's just against a hypothetical.

Some builds do more damage against groups. Some do more damage against bosses. Damage is too situational to define DPS rigorously.

Be happy with "good enough" rather than "max".

Your comment "definitely a crit one" shows bias. Crit comes with a cost, and that has to be weighed against the gains. Crit is more about burst damage than DPS.

Pretty sure it is wand barrage with lvl 27 auras aurabot now when deadeye has that 20% more attack speed.
I did 80M shaper dps theory craft around it (with expensive but not mirror gear)

Wouldn't someone running full aurabot in a full party with bis geared chars "give" the most dps?

Making it the highest DPS aslong as everyone is doing their job.

Everything depends on who you fight with, as the amount of damage does not translate into the speed of tapping the map. So against endgame bosses like shaper, uber atz, elder or "semi andgame" like shaper and elders guardians or T15-16 leaches the best choice would be molten strike, barrage or blade flurry. Then there is mapping, where those type of attacks are completly irrelevant, I mean there are efficient for sure, but too slow. On other side there are things like sunder, frost blades or so, which cleans the entire screen with a single press of the mouse button, but are highly inefficient against even T14 bosses.

A suicide bomber with cast on death discharge cloud fit the description as well, though quite impractical.
