Game crashing with Exception Error

After redownloading the game several times, my friend told me to try it on steam. as soon as I started downloading, i noticed something new. my shortcut icon had changed. before it was last leagues icon, not its clearly the new one. Not a PC genus here, but its something new.

no luck, game crashes immediantly, always getting massed exception errors. asks me to switch to Dx9, same thing happens. Ive played in 7 leagues, shit like this never has never happened, I played the game last week in the flashback, no issues, so you cant tell me its my PC now!~

I registered two crashes today while playing, never happened before. But to me it doesn't say anything, just the whole game freeze, I have to ctrl+alt+cancel and then force the game to close. The popup is the windows one, "the application stopped work" or such.

Seems solved by change setting from dtx11 to dtx9, just played an hour w/o crashes.

So what worked for me was a total random solution that I found out when I was about to uninstall the game.

So, just go to controll panel and try to uninstall the game and then the cliend will pop-up and you will have 3 options:

-Repair
-Uninstall
-Close

So I went with the "Repair" option and holy smokes.... the game worked after that.

I hope my solution works for you too :) And btw, I downloaded the game from the offical site, not from steam.

Happening for me too, with a completely fresh installation. Every once in a while it happens, not sure if it's based on time played (time game is running) or number of zones loaded, but reliably, without fail, I'll get the error below, when loading another zone. To clarify, this is happening consistently every session, I'm just not sure if it always happens after the exact same amount of time/number of zones. It always happens on the zone transition.



This second one has only popped up once, but I was already in the mindset of grabbing screenshots so yeah.

I had the same issue and i think i fixed that. I downloaded MSI afterburner then lowered my core clock(-500MHz) and memory clock(-200MHz) but the numbers might be different for you it kinda depends what gpu u got. I hope it helps
