FPS Drops

3.2 seemed to be fine as well, no my game just wants to die in fights. Kind of annoying if you ask me. Drops below 50 are bearable but dipping below 25 is literally unplayable and just begs for useless death.

i got a crappy 7600m graphics card, but sudden dips to zero fps is kinda weird. What's weird is also low fps shouldn't affect the gameplay so much that it freeze for 1 or more secs. Even in gw2, getting 15fps does not freeze my game for so long, it just show weird graphics.

I had a FPS issue, my FPS were going from 15 to 150 for no specific reason (even with all the graphics options set to the lowest, directx11 and directx9).
My configuration is not near the author's one, but it's decent. I have a GTX 970M and i5 6300HQ at 2.3 GHz.

I tried to launch the other .exe ( Steam\steamapps\common\Path of Exile\PathOfExileSteam.exe instead of the other ) as it was pointed out, and it did work for me. Now, with all the graphics options to the highest (directx11), the game runs very smoothly.

worked for me also.

Also try to disable reverb in sound options, it helped some ppl a lot.

But especially group play can be really a mess no mather what specs you are running. Its both servers and engine are overflowed.

i found the fix my self. when i get fps drops my network spikes, it doesnt always show the spike but the number does increase. i use wifi fyi

1.search run in windows.
2.in run window type regedit then press enter
3.HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Multimedia\SystemProfile
4.In the SystemProfile registry key, create a new DWORD (32 bit) value, and name it NetworkThrottlingIndex (if it doesn’t exist already). Then, double-click on it and set its data to FFFFFFFF (default is a)
5.optional. in the same tab create a new DWORD (32 bit) value, name it SystemResponsiveness (if it doesn’t exist already), and set its data to 0 (default is a)

It;s not also yours problem. It;s most complicated then you think. there are many posts with this problem

Having the same issue enough. This league already makes it hard enough to keep an XP bar. Can we please get a status if this is even being looked into?

Facing the same problem of huge fps drops. Tried numerous suggested solutions, nothing helped. I must notice though, all problems began after the patch, that fixed syndicate members stacking. Before that patch all was perfectly fine. I love the game, but technical issues drive me crazy
