Jeah Ahfack is one of the most patient people out there as it seems.

I followed every comment here since the league startet and the last 90 pages or so where just about crafting elder axes even though Ahfack made a detailed guide about it in the starting post after the first person asked.

So huge respect to Ahfack for still answering questions that are answered in detail in the guide!

Is Vaal AW a viable option? I am currently a little bit confused. I thought I read ingame, that Vaal AW can cast an additional Totem (can't verify right now due to work). On the POE Wiki page, Vaal AW allows the totem to move, which is IMO not viable.

How would I proceed crafting this axe now? Mainpage information seems a bit outdated (what I read from the thread)

Remove the crafted mod: intel + quality
Go trade or global 820, find the one with pale court to unlock multi mod craft, 10 - 15c fee.
Craft multi mod = 2ex

Go forum, selling box, pick crafting service for;
+2 support skill = 2 ex, or hit cant be evade, not sure :(
Physical dmg
Attack speed
Quality + strength/intel

Find hillock bench for 28% quality.

Or you can grind syndicate and do it yourself. I havent done this yet.

Any recommendations what gem setup to use on body armour if I decide not to use Kaoms? I'm thinking maybe some CWDT setup on a Belly of the Beast could bring similar survivability?

I dont't want to make any crafting mistakes. So the first thing you do is use Perfect Fossils to get 30% Quality and than scour, correct?

Is something like this good enough if I craft +2 support gems or should I aim for something better?

Only have 12ex atm.
