Hey I'm a super noob, and have only played srs really. What are you looking for in a weapon? Just % physical damage? And what are some good uniques to use when leveling up?

Hey so the thread has turned to some gear discussion. While we're at it can I get some advice on gear? I just got to maps and I think I'm going to try to tackle merc lab. I'd like some suggestions on how I can improve my gear before I go in there.

Looking pretty decent so far there man..

tho that Reduced Mana in ur boots is pointless.. replace with Enduring Cry..

ur weapon could be a whole lot better at ur level.. u have points in axe specific nodes.. so something like -

would be a huge improvement, a 5th link would be preferable but if u dont have the jewelers to roll it, 4 will do..

Life and Rez on gear is priority.. ur neck and rings r looking a little dated for ur higher level, but i can see ur neck is "Required" for ur int and dex needs right now.. check poe.trade for upgrades, life and rez obviously and u will need to try get int and dex where ever u can, even if u need to craft some on with Elreon's Blessing Font(rings and neck). (dont forget the 30+ dex and int nodes near by, good for leveling, but preferably dont rely on them as a permanent idea)

if u need to balance out ur int and dex u could for now respec temporarily out of the Amplify circle and put those points in the 30+'s near by (Expertise, Ancestral Knowledge)
or better yet finish the axe damage nodes (along with koams and ur damage will be crazy) but before u get stuck with an old neck and rings due to stat requirements u will likely need to address that stat issue first..

Sort by DPS, check at what level u can use item, check poe.trade for affordability.

the damage nodes at the bottom of the tree is in general 2h weapon damage..

the nodes at the left are type specific (axe/mace). so spec/respec accordingly.

How do you guys get past the mana issue? I feel like I'm constantly hitting a mana pot.
