i did a few calculations with path of building.
mastercrafting flat cold and flat lightning would give me about 15k DPS more on Bosses with Barrage.
slamming an ex and hitting T1 flat lightning would give me about 30k more DPS but i think i will not get THAT lucky :)
so i still can't decide what i do with my wand -.-

Even if your reduce the choice with Vagan's meta craft there will be still 18 possible prefixes... damned hard to gamble on the two you you really want and expect them to be Tier 1. I'd say play it safe and use multimodding.

What about Tora's WED mod?

Edit: Of course you should check trade and see if you can't get a better wand for the two Exalted Orbs.

yeah, thats also a important consideration i should think of...

maybe i get a good offer for this wand and buy something that fits the build better

Piscator's Vigil is a fine (and cheap) wand for elemental wanders with focus on Lightning Damage but it's always a bit weak on the "fire and ice front". ;)

Goodies like AFD, HoA, and Hatred don't work.

Ideally you want a high phys roll Imbued Wand with plenty flat Lightning Damage. Then you'll get a shit ton of scaled elemental damage with AFD, Hatred, and HoA.

Yeah but you can use wrath, herald of thunder and/or anger instead.
It´s easy to dual wield with those and pretty cheap.

As I said, works really well with Lightning Damage... if you don't mind playing a "one-trick pony". :D

Anger with 50% reservation and rather lame returns (16-110 flat Fire Damage) isn't really an option. Better get your flat fire damage from gloves, rings, amulet.

I see 83-138 on lvl 20 here: http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Anger

and lvl 25 gives: 117 to 195 which is pretty nice as base damage imo.

You can have wrath, herald of thunder, anger with a bit of investment all together, probably not on CI unless playing lowlife build.
