Regarding the Scold's nerf; No fun allowed?

I miss my flicker striker too, flickers through maps at uber speed while crapping out spells. Not sure why they had to remove it...

Guess their packs aren't selling too well eh? Can't afford more servers.

I would get the server argument if Scold's was as popular as old CoC. Let us be honest here, it was not. Someone else mentioned it being the upcoming console release and the longer I think about it, it makes sense. We can already see the game dropping frames on the xbox trailer, now imagine using something like Scold's on a Breach while playing on said console. Will never happen.

It was also vastly abused in pvp, not like it's the main reason they nerfed it but it's definitely one of them.

I think it was also fixed to bring it in line with items like Kitava's Thirst.
Also, quite simply, a life cost isn't a mana cost. So the fix makes it actually do what the wording says it does.

They are trying to make sure most of the interactions are obvious from what the items say, esp as a lot of new players are going to be coming to the game in the next 6 months.

As if PvP is balanced in the first place. Or ever was, haha. Good one dude.

I've almost respecced 50 points to set up for Scold. While buying Fevered Minds, seller told me it got nerfed.

Since Scolds is the only have to have fun this clearly demonstrates GGG is against fun.

I know nothing of this nerf. Is it a nerf of existing or just new? Why wasn't it in the patch notes?

I've quoted this because it describes ggg perfectly.
Every single thing that could potentially be fun gets "balanced". Meaning we end up with the same old overlooked slosh as the previous leagues.
