Yeah, I was thinking that too because if it's not "killed recently", then during boss fight, you'd have the bonus 1-160 lightning, but it's also situational because some bosses have trash mobs.
EDIT: I'm leaning more towards the cold since it honestly covers most situations and has the highest effective up time.

Whole section in guide on enchants.
I saw you mentioned that "bosses which is by far the most important." So I just assumed that during boss fight you are most likely taking some skirmishes and always having the bonus cold damage up.

Can someone help me decide what to upgrade / purchase to get this character in order? I'm thinking i desperately need to get Lycosidae but the cost is most of my current currency. I've got about 1ex & 200c. My gear is a mash of stuff stolen from my starter character and cheap items. I have a well rolled Belly but can't afford to 6-link it.
Edit ... went ahead and splurged on the shield. Hopefully it helps.

Glad you bought the shield because it would have been my first suggestion. Farming currency is very easy to do once you can do maps without much of a problem, just continue farming and stacking that currency. Before you know it you will have more currency than you know what to do with.
As for fuse, make sure to buy vorici fuse every daily reset. Between that and normal farming and picking up fuse/jews and converting you should easily be able to throw a couple hundred on it every couple days.
It's looking like i'm going to have to fork over the cash for the lycosidae, which is all i really have at the moment but that's not the point of my post.
My question is on the 6l skills for ST. PoB shows a significantly higher DPS if you swap elemental focus over ice bite. But everyone talks about ice bite, is there a reason for using ice bite that PoB doesn't show?
