First of all, i love your build! However, i would really like it if you could write a more detailed sections on 3.1 changes. For example, i feel like Vaal Pact isn't necessarily worth the drawback anymore and in terms of gear and jewels, it feels like your guide is still totally viable but not completely optimized anymore... Would be awesome if you could do an update! :)

Why not go for Phase Acro? Is that 4 points better spent on life nodes?

" Covered in the guide. " There is 0 need to have a detailed section on changes. Vaal pact is no longer instant. That one sentence says everything. As for drawback... it still gives double the leech rate and you lose some life regen. Unless your doing endless labs, who cares about life regen? VP is still 100% worth it. I plan to update this league very very soon full screenshots/videos/offense + defense etc. However that is only because I ran this build again. In future you will have to look at the guide and read the changelog and adjust it as is. If something is not listed in the changelog then it has not changed. Pretty straightforward tbh.... " Phase acro is for spell dodge only. If you plan on farming 100 uber atziris its worth it for sure. However most things in this game don't really cast spells and the mobs that do are trash mobs that don't really matter so dodging spells is not very important. |

I really love St and definitely have to try this league with all the jewel but don't know how to level it since ST is awful to level. Anyone can give me tips ?

" Entire section dedicated to leveling guide. Also as a side note I level as ST everytime I do this build and have 0 issues what so ever. Barely any ele dmg on a weapon and you slaughter everything. |

Did you ever consider to play with 2x The Taiming? (if we are able to min/max our gear to get enough int for wrath) Since we crit alot.
Nice build tho :) |

" Not really worth it I don't think but would have to look into it more. Break down The taming one step at a time. Ele damage with attacks we roll on our rings with at LEAST 30+ so rare ring is better 30% inc ele dmg is nice but best base for this build is opal ring which is 25% so comes very close to canceling this out 10% chance to freeze/shock/ignite is kind of a gimmick, with crit and our flat % chance already we don't really have an issue applying ailments now so the only difference in reality is: Taming would give us 20% inc damage with hits per freeze/shock/ignite on an enemy and 20-30 to all resists a rare opal ring would give us very high life + flat lightning damage + any resistances left over and any stats we need. Now taming could add a bunch of damage at the loss of some life, ive never tested it at all especially since it got buffed but that's a lot of life to lose as well. Also I hate dps based on conditions. 20% increased damage per freeze/shock/ignite on enemy sounds great until you roll a map or something with 90% chance for monsters to avoid status ailments. On the flip side 60% increased dmg (if monster is frozen, shocked, and ignited), ele dmg, ele dmg with attack skills, and extra freeze/shock/ignite sounds prty good. Will have to test some stuff out since taming got buffed in 3.0. Might be a bitch to get the str/int we need though from other sources. Id also personally rather lose ammy slot and run a biscos and stack up on rings, but I don't really solely farm pure end game content like shaper/uber atziri to push my dps to the absolute highest. Will look into this more though. On a side note, guide is fully upto date with a new sample video, full screenshots of gear and offense/defense stats. " Looking into a bit more id like to add a little more info: PoB does NOT calculate the 20% increased damage with hits. So you can craft a rare ring (I used gold ring base so it didn't really add anything) and add 30 EDWA, 30% elemental damage and it gives the same exact stats as the taming does on PoB. So add another mod of 60% increased damage with hits and as long as an enemy is ignited, shocked, and frozen this does indeed add a huge chunk of damage. In reality however the only thing we care about on this build is single target stuff. Trash mobs, rares, champs, exiles etc all die instantly anyway with basic budget gear so it doesn't really matter. Now since shaper/guardians/atziri etc have had status ailment immunity REMOVED with the exception of freeze this means that they can be ignited/shocked constantly. Shock lasts 2 seconds now and ignite lasts 4. Which means pretty much with straight attacking they will take 40% increased damage with attacks. As for intel + str, just with the passives on tree we get 104 str and 114 intel. with 21 gems this means we need 10 additional str and 45 additional intel from gear + jewels. Could also spend 1 additional passive point if wanted to grab the +30 intel node lowering this to 10 str and 15 int we would need. Biggest loss would be the life that rare rings would give you IN CONCLUSION: If you were farming a bunch of shaper/guardians or uber atziris then yes the taming would be a very nice addition for dps for sure. They have solid all resistances too which means your res more than likely would not be an issue at all if you had good gear and rare belts/gloves/boots. If you were farming normal maps or lab rare rings would probably be best and dropping amulet for a biscos for more drops. Guess ultimately choice would be up to you and how you want to play. Throwing on double taming rings for super fast atziri or shaper kills might not be a bad idea though. Dernière édition par g00fy_goober#7177, le 10 janv. 2018 à 18:26:17

" Yeah that's true, I just specced out of it, gonna see how it feels against those Abyss monsters that hit like a truck. I think with Phase Acro it's also not possible to get 6k+ life. Small nitpick, but on your tree, you can grab the two Evasion+Life nodes to the left of Finesse instead of the two above Revenge of the Hunted to get 4% more evasion and the same amount of life. |
