TC, Chilled or Tar in every damn map, Why?

Tar zombies - the most dangerous enemy in PoE. As they can literally make you uninstall.

I typically just ignore the ground effects, however I cannot disagree that they are far too widespread. Most notably, the static fields, wherein you take extra damage, seem like they cover >50% of a map.
I liked the suggestion to increase the effects considerably and reduce the spread, very supportive of that! |

Leave the speed meta alone, it's not the reason why these exist.
There are two independent vectors: 1. the accumulation of power creep over time 2. the developer approach to add game longevity through slowing down the player The rule is: the less game content you have, the more of these encounters you add. The current state of PoE got nothing to do with these slow effects. It's even contradictory - you throw in more and more power creep resulting in higher clear speed, you don't take any steps to control both AS/MS (overall speed), but at the same you keep these effects in game. First, the end result is it's utterly frustrating - like driving a sports card with handbrake on. Second - these are also poorly implemented. And most of all - they are outdated. PoE is up to a state, where player power can be fairly controlled only by difficulty (besides the regular nerfs), but not by idiotic and annoying lazy tricks. Since everyone runs at 100%+ its natural for ggg to balance things out by plaguing each map with temp chains and chilled effect.. :D Tar is the best thou! :D
If anyone would just run at 20% on tar+temp chains.. try it! I dislike rarity so much im almost quitting poe2. GGG.

As I see it, the biggest problem with Tar is when Zana has a timed mission. But I would not object to less ground coverage for all of the shock, chilled, fire and tar.
