I thought 3ex would be "expensive" already, but it seems that the sky is the limit for the price to get this character going.
My (cookie cutter) RF made 157/157 with a 5ex budget.

And Synx88, based on what you said, I researched more and the point you brought about cost x clearspeed is very true. Sadly, it's somewhat discouraging and made me think twice into investing time into this build, seems like it will get expensive to get insane clear speed.

All I have atm is a lvl21 flame golem gem, should be the starter.
Oh well, I guess Necro it is then, I guess elementalist would be the best choice with insane investment!! Nevertheless, sounds like incredibly fun to play, first time with a summoner!

how does support immolate works on solar guards and tukohama vanguards ? is it any usefull ?

I wouldn't get too discouraged, just keep your expectations realistic.

If you find that you really enjoy the summoner playstyle, it's not going to matter if the initial investment to get going was higher, since mapping with a build you enjoy is always going to be far more tolerable than with a build you dislike that maps a bit faster.

What about those minion taunt abyssal jewels? Would that help solve agro?

Saw the post earlier about +2 minion damage helm plus other minion stats.

Thinking about going this route to give my spectres 6L chest and putting helm to golems. What is best combo for helm if I just have minion damage, minion life. What 4 sockets would you recommend?

So a question I can't seem to find the answer to. For the 6 flame golem elementalist, is there a point for all the Primordial Harmonies, or is that only relevant for the 4+1+1?

When I had golems in an elder helmet, I socketed: Golem, GMP, Ele focus, Echo.
I swapped GMP for slower proj in boss fights.

very nice build. Like it so far, event thou the placestyle of a summoner is something I need to get used to.

Maybe you guys can help me out a little.

I get the sotl with the 2g2r2b, but currently I am forced to switch to a rare for defenses and elemental resistences.

- Rings are a pain to get (no minion speed available when I search, no mattter the price)
- In maps like residence with a lot of smal rooms my golems trail so far behind they are clearing the room that I allready left. In open maps its close to the same. To loot I have to turn around a lot, slowing me down quit a bit. What to do? I usually run past the monsters with quicksilver and cast arc or offering. Then I have to wait. (My gems are at low level I know, execpt 20/20 golems, rest is not for map clearing anyway).
- The trade between ullyr for extra spectre or survivalbility with a ES boots are a big deal for me. Sometimes I feel like I am made of paper. I run setup with phase run, does immortal call help much to save from 1-shots?
- I hate "core" map boss :)
- Animated Guardien question: That guy is gone after logoff? When you mean "Switch it out for bossfight where it will die!". You remove the gem? Isn't the gear gone then? How to recast that thing?
- I realized I missed the unnatural calm, will get it next lvlup.
- Chayula is nowhere near my budget.
- I read the part about where to get ES from, no worries I follwed the threat since page 227 and I know if have to shop a lot. Still I feel its my playstyle and the slow golems holding me back.

Thank you for the build. Always wanted to try one golemancer. Finally did it. Much respect for anwsering all these questions.
