Taming + Emberwake Rings
i just ran around ledge testing with: emberwake, taming, consuming dark. with links lvl 10 fireball, lvl 7 firestorm, lvl 21 added chaos, lvl 19 chance to ignite. when i hit something with fireball, 1 instance of ignite, it barely does any damage. about 40-50% of initial hit. when i firestorm a mob, then hit a separate monster with fireball, the poison seems to be significantly higher. literally more then the initial hit. I ran around for 20mins so, it seems that the emberwake taming combo does double dip. i think it works differently from conditional gems like hypothermia, which states: more Damage AGAINST Chilled Enemies. where taming states: 10% INCREASED Damage per Freeze, Shock and Ignite on Enemy. one states, you do more damage vs chilled, the other says you have increased damage if there are ignited monsters. unless GGG says something about the taming specifically, i think it double dips. literally tested, the DOT went from 20-30% initial hit with no ignites, to more then the initial hit, when u have a bunch of enemies ignited.

" That's not even how the taming works. It increases damage against mobs which are frozen, shocked or ignited, not against other mobs Ign: LavaMosse

the damage difference seemed to be from the ascendancy class. since my tool tip is, 192-289 fire and 700-1049 chaos, when the all hits burn or all hits inflict all status came up the DOT got bigger. and "10% increased Damage per Freeze, Shock and Ignite on Enemy" this should be turned to 10% increased Damage per Freeze, Shock and Ignite on AN Enemy. this way you would know its specific to the enemy, the wording can be read differently. besides that, going to go do some testing on a non elementalist.
